Laura has nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, event planning and journalism. Driven by a desire to tell stories in ways that capture people's attention and motivate them to action, she founded M4G Media, a marketing communications agency with an emphasis on social good and storytelling. Her broad experience in the corporate, nonprofit and education sectors includes working with Red Bull, Gretsch Guitars, Orange Amplifiers, WaterAid, Easterseals, Cal State L.A., MALDEF, WhyHunger and The Levitt Foundation. She also works closely with entrepreneurs and renowned creative artists to capture, tell and effectively promote their stories. As a journalist, Laura served as West Coast Editor for renowned British music magazine NME and has contributed to the Los Angeles Times, Yahoo Entertainment, Variety, Rolling Stone, IGN.com, LA Weekly, The Press Enterprise, Nylon and several other media outlets. Laura, who holds a Master's degree in Communications, has a true passion for storytelling, which started with a time-travel writing assignment in the third grade and has continued throughout her life. In an interesting twist of fate, she ghostwrote messages for Prince Charles while serving as WaterAid's Communication Manager, as well as talking points for former Vice President Al Gore. In her free time, Laura creates handmade ceramics, works on her novel, prepares plant-based meals, and hikes the hills near her home in Los Angeles.
