Until the year 1918, rice was not cultivated in Greece. In that year, the founder of our company Panagiotis Galanakis brought from the USA rice seed, which he cultivated in town Messini in Pelopponisos, Greece. In 1919 he founded in the same town the first in Greece rice-processing factory... We have been producing excellent quality rice for over 100 years. The production is passed down from generation to generation, evolving the know-how but keeping our original values ​​unchanged.
