Annya is a passionate advocate for equity and focuses on building spaces and cities that serve all citizens. She leads both civic and affordable housing projects and oversees architecture collaborations among all three Marvel offices. Current projects include the new development of Rockaway Village, re-envisioning of the Bronx Museum of the Arts, renovation of the historic Orchard Beach Pavilion and a state-of-the-art Animal Care Facility for the City of New York.
Annya received Bachelor of Architecture in Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. She is an active leader in the community, serving on boards of The Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation, The Sato Project, The Clemente Center and the AIANY Honors Committee.

Edna has spent the past 17 years contributing to some of Marvel Marchand's top projects in Puerto Rico, including the recently revitalized El Portal Visitors Center at El Yunque National Forest, Academia San Ignacio in San Juan, and urban rehabilitation plans for the cities of Camuy, Ceiba, Naguabo, Mayagüez, and Fajardo. Recent work in New York includes the 25-story Arlo Midtown Hotel in Manhattan. She is currently working on several hospitality projects around Puerto Rico, as well as Master Plans for local educational institutions.
Edna has been published in the Docomomo Journal and the Re-View magazine of Tulane University. She received Bachelor and Master degrees in Architecture from Tulane University and a second Master of Architecture from Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain.

Héctor is a registered architect with over 20 years of experience in development, project management, planning, and design. He has held leadership positions in corporate and governmental organizations. As Development Director at the Puerto Rico Land Administration, he led a team of professionals in the disciplines of architecture, engineering, property appraisal and contracting officials, focused on promoting private and public project investments and developments. His experience as an architect, management and property administration includes hospitality, medical facilities, affordable housing, educational, industrial, and corporate complexes, among others. As Senior Architect and Project Manager, he collaborated on the Roosevelt Roads Naval Base closure and redevelopment master planning. Héctor is currently a Director at Marvel Architects, and President at the American Institute of Architects, Puerto Rico Chapter. He has participated as design critic on architecture schools, design awards jury and supports non-profit organizations on educational and community building projects.

Jason joined Marvel Architects in 2015. He is a licensed architect in the State of New York and has a background in residential, mixed-use, cultural and high-rise design and construction. His experience has been widespread, with work in the US/Canada and internationally. Jason has 20-plus years of experience in architectural design, project management and construction. He has a Master of Architecture from The Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation at Columbia University and a BS-Arch from The University of Michigan. As a designer he has been privileged with the opportunity to engage the built environment at multiple scales; from iconic skyline impacting high-rises, cultural facilities and national monuments to the occasional private residence. His work as a project manager has involved balancing complex project planning, multiple stakeholder management, and public review processes at the city, state and national levels with the goals of maintaining design excellence, inclusivity and efficiency. Jason was the lead in coordinating the design, documentation and tender of the National Holocaust Monument in Ottawa, which involved the organization of architectural and engineering disciplines with artistic and academic contributions and the requirements of federal project procurement. In NYC, Jason has managed multiple projects at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum adapting and transforming unique historic spaces to help the museum grow and evolve to better fulfill its mission. Domestically and internationally, he has worked on half a dozen mixed-use high-rise projects and understands the balance of real estate development goals with the need to create responsible, sustainable, and livable urban environments. At Marvel Jason has had leadership role in the design and construction of several high-profile mixed-use projects including Plank Road at Pacific Park, the 1 Clinton Condominiums in Brooklyn Heights, and 1 Java in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Jennifer is the lead project architect for the New Jersey Institute of Technology projects; including the phased Central King Building renovation started in 2012, as well as numerous instructional laboratory and lecture hall renovations in other campus buildings. Since 2015, Jennifer has served as the lead project architect for numerous renovation projects for the Bank Street College of Education and School for Children in Manhattan. Jennifer has experience with diverse project types, ranging from public higher level education research labs and classrooms, K-12 academic and athletic facilities, event spaces, theaters and park spaces, to private commercial buildings and residences. Earning her MArch from Rice University she was awarded the Mitchell travel fellowship and the AIA School Medal. Deeply interested in architectural education, she served as the Director of Educational outreach programs of the Brazos County, Texas AIA Chapter and taught summer architectural studios at Texas A&M University.

For over 18 years working with Jonathan Marvel, Nebil Gokcebay has played a key role on a wide range of Marvel Architects' residential projects for developers and private clients. As a New York native, Nebil is familiar with the agencies that make buildings in this city come to life. With a drive to seek out and resolve complex problems through simple and direct solutions, Nebil has used his experience with architecturally intuitive detailing in numerous designs for renovations and new construction. He worked on the award winning 14 Townhouses and the second phase of the same urban renewal project, 9 Townhouses, and is focused on working at the livable scale in relation to its urban context. Currently he is leading design for the second phase of a Brookfield Commons, a multiphased masterplan to bring an additional 400 affordable apartments to the City of White Plains. He is also completing the restoration and conversion of a historic Catholic School and orphanage into seven condominiums and two townhouses in NoLiTa.
Paul is an Architect & Urban Designer with over 17 years of international professional experience working in New York, London and Dublin on a broad range of public and private projects. Paul joined Marvel Architects in 2014 with a background in urban design, residential, cultural and high-rise design and has since led the design and construction of numerous projects including 29 Jay Street, 1 Java, House 94, and 45 Davis Street. Paul recently led the successful rezoning of Gowanus Green under the Gowanus Neighborhood Plan.
Paul has a Master of Architecture with distinction from University College London and a BArch from University College Dublin. He is passionate about Architecture's great transformative power within communities, with a view to understanding design processes at a number of different scales, from the object to the city. As Architecture is a manifestation of myriad complex processes which are sociological, economic and political it requires constant questioning and cross-referencing through these various scales of thought.
Raquel has worked in a variety of roles at Marvel Marchand for 20 years, where she has completed major commercial, residential and hospitality projects, including the award-winning renovation of the Vanderbilt and La Concha Hotels in San Juan, and the US HUD initiative for elderly housing at Valle Dorado in Utuado. Past New York projects include Roosevelt Park in Queens and the Bedford Union Armory in Brooklyn, and, currently, she is currently overseeing a historic adaptive reuse project of a hotel and school in San Juan.
Raquel received a Bachelor of Architecture in Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Architecture from UCLA, where she received an AIA scholarship and won the Hazel Fellowship for Design Excellence. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Puerto Rico College of Architects and manages Marvel San Juan's staff and operations.

For 25 years, Tim has developed meaningful places that leverage latent value and inspire delight. Highly awarded projects include the landmark Battery Maritime Building adaptive reuse, the Pierrepont Brooklyn apartment towers, Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden Masterplan and NYSE District Streetscapes and Security. He is spearheading an office building at 29 Jay Street in Dumbo, a lab building in Somerville, MA, a waterfront Hotel and Residences in Portland, ME, and the FiDi and Seaport Climate Resilience Masterplan. Known as a prolific designer and a creative catalyst, Tim founded the "MAD" Marvel Design Group to promote firm design culture, and directs many complex Planning and Urban Design efforts.
Tim studied Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and serves locally on the Maplewood Township Planning Board and Springfield Avenue Partnership.
Timothy Rowan is the Managing Director of Marvel, PLLC overseeing the operations, finance, human resources, legal, information technology, and other administration aspects of the practice. Prior to joining the team in 2007, Tim gained extensive experience in the architecture, engineering and real estate industries during his years at leading firms like Deloitte and ARUP. Tim's comprehensive approach to management enables our team of Architects to focus on the quality of their designs in a collaborative environment that remains profitable with sustainable growth.
Yadiel joined Marvel in 2017 as lead of its landscape architecture practice, where he has been in charge of managing open space, master plans and landscape projects. He has over 13 years of experience as a landscape architect and three as an architect, designing open public spaces in the United States, Puerto Rico and abroad. Through his experience as a multidisciplinary designer, he has negotiated the intersection between landscape architecture, architecture and urban design. He has managed projects in diverse contexts and at various design scales, taking ideas from conceptual design all the way through construction.
He currently manages Bronx Point, the ninth WEDG-verified project in NYC, a waterfront promenade project along the Harlem River in the Bronx that extends Mill Pond Park, creating a new nature walk framed by renewed native ecosystems as well as open access and views to the water. Yadiel is also leading the improvement of Norris Square Park, a multipurpose site in North Philadelphia.
Yadiel oversaw design and construction oversight of the first-ever open streetscape and park along the Las Vegas Strip, bringing back native desert vegetation and local materials to the streetscape of Las Vegas while keeping its sense of wonder and excitement. He also led teams of designers and consultants through the design of public parks in San Jose, CA; for the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, CA; and for Pier 57 Sky-Park in New York City. Yadiel received his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico and Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
Zack began his work with Jonathan Marvel in 2009 and has contributed to a wide range of projects, many with a focus on the performing arts and theatrical spaces. He is a licensed architect in the State of New York with experience in architectural design, project management and construction. Zack's projects have been widespread, with work in New York City, NY State, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Maine.
After receiving his Master of Architecture from Parsons, The New School, Zack's early work with Jonathan Marvel involved various projects for the SandRidge Energy Corporate Headquarters in Oklahoma City. The projects include a multi-block urban corporate campus, historic façade renovation of existing landmark structures on site, a site shade canopy, and envelope and façade design for several buildings and the design of the main corporate lobby. Zack was project lead in coordinating the design, documentation, and project management for the TheatreSquared Redevelopment Project in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Zack also served as the project architect on the historic renovation and conversion of a nineteenth century Tobacco Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park into an avant-garde performance space for St. Ann's Warehouse.
In addition to his commercial and theatrical expertise, Zack's experience also includes coworking, retail, multi-family residential, and hospitality. As a designer he has been privileged with the opportunity to engage the built environment in a manner that extends the impact of projects beyond the building footprint to benefit the greater communities they are a part of. His work as a project manager has involved balancing complex project planning, multiple stakeholder management, and public review processes at the city, state and national levels while maintaining design excellence, inclusivity, and client satisfaction. Most recently at Marvel, Zack has had a leadership role in the design and documentation of several high-profile mixed-use projects including the adaptive reuse of the Rainbow Centre Mall in Niagara Falls, NY and a luxury mixed-use hotel on Portland Maine's historic waterfront.
