Dr. Wisinski is a licensed physical therapist and owner of Midwest Physical Therapy Services. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Women's Health. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Des Moines University, Iowa. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the physical therapy program at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, in 1986, and received her BS at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, in 1984. A native of Nebraska, she returned to the state in 1987 to set up her practice. She serves in elected positions in both the Section on Women's Health, and in the Nebraska Chapter, of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Dr. Wisinski has received specialized training in manual therapy techniques for the spine and pelvis, as well as certification in lymphedema drainage and orthotics casting. She has spent over 15 years specializing in Women's Health. She routinely lectures at area medical programs and provides seminars to medical professionals around the country. On a state level, she has been honored with the Mary Ellen Sackseder Award, by the Nebraska Chapter, APTA. On a national level, she has been recognized by the National Association for Continence as the Continence Care Champion, and by the APTA as the Outstanding Physical Therapist/Physical Therapist Assistant Team Award.
