With over 12 years under his belt, Brett says the most rewarding thing about his job is having a client leave his chair feeling better and more confident about themselves. Specializing in men's cuts, natural looking blondes, and brunettes, he knew Mirror Mirror was the right salon home for him because of the clientele and the hospitality the salon provides. Originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, Brett was drawn to Austin because of our year-round sunny weather and the liveliness of the city. Outside of the salon, you may catch him playing volleyball, catching a comedy show, or on the East Side enjoying some live music.

On days and nights off, Brett's out and about collecting vinyl, seeing live music, and testing out Austin's new restaurants. He loves chilling on a patio with friends, margaritas and laughs.
Byron is a hospitality industry veteran with over 17 years experience creating warm, welcoming environments. Originally hailing from Houston, he loves the vibrancy of Austin, and especially its ever-changing restaurant scene. Outside of the salon, you can catch him spending time with his wife and daughter, cheering on the Longhorns (his alma mater) with a bourbon old-fashioned cocktail in hand.
Carolyn first experienced Mirror Mirror as a client before joining the team as a stylist. She loves the culture of the salon and enjoys her clients and fellow stylists. Outside the salon, she enjoys traveling, college football (hook ‘em), and a really good margarita. She was born and raised in Austin, and she loves the natural beauty of her hometown as well as the vibrancy of the culture and ever-changing food scene. With almost three years of industry experience, he says his favorite part about the job is building relationships and creating new connections with clients. Born and raised in New Orleans, Greg spent the majority of his career in top salons in New York City and Chicago before making his way to Austin. He instantly connected with the laid-back lifestyle here in Austin, and you can catch him hiking the Greenbelt in his spare time.
A native of Los Angeles, Irene joined the Mirror Mirror family because she wanted to work for a salon that made everyone feel welcome and also did amazing work. With over 12 years of experience, she believes in giving her clients the best possible haircut that is low maintenance, so in turn it makes their days easier! When Irene is not in the salon, she loves taking walks with her family and their dog or listening to audiobooks. She also loves any stand-up comedy special on NETFLIX. Originally from Philadelphia, she is thrilled to live in Austin's warm climate. Enjoying a margarita on the patio in January makes her very happy. She loves to travel, binge read, and spend time with family and friends. On a nice day off, she'd head to Joann's on South Congress for a spicy margarita and appetizers and then do a little shopping.

After 18 years, Natalie Cox's favorite part of being a stylist is her salon family-clients and team members-at Mirror Mirror. She specializes in color corrections, fashion color (pinks, purples, blues), and dimensional color. Natalie's hometown is Fresno, CA and she thoroughly enjoys her new home city of Austin for its vibe and never-ending list of things to do and experience. Rebekah's desire is to make everyone feel like the best versions of themselves. She draws inspiration from art, fashion, and the world around her to create something that looks and feels like you and only you. She tirelessly strives to refine her craft so that no matter what anyone wants, she can execute it. Rebekah's specialties are balayage, "is that your natural color?" reds, and beachy, dimensional and lived-in blondes.
Rebekah chose Mirror Mirror for its collaborative and talented team and busy, yet welcoming environment. She wants to step into the next phase of her career - specializing in blonding and dimensional color and hopes to become a part of the education of the next generation of ambitious stylists.
Shawn is a true native Texan - born in Odessa, grew up around Houston in a tiny, one stop light town called Van Vleck, and moved to Austin in 1998. He worked in retail management for a few years but craved a career that allowed him to channel his creative energy. Shawn began his career in 2007 and has been in love with creating beautiful hair ever since. His meticulous attention to detail and skilled eye bring his cherished clients hair to life. Whether it's sun kissed highlights, beautifully natural color, a great cut, or even a gorgeous blowout (his favorite) every service with Shawn is treated with the same careful precision and love of craft. When not behind the chair Shawn enjoys technology and everything automotive - like restoring his 1965 VW Karmann-Ghia soon! He is married to his wonderful husband and they have a very energetic 100 pound, yellow lab that makes sure there's never a dull moment.
A true born and raised Austinite, Tess joined Mirror Mirror soon after graduating from the Aveda Institute because of the welcoming team. She loves being in a workplace where she feels motivated by her coworkers, and feels inspired by the bright and fun atmosphere on a daily basis. A creative at heart, Tess says that her love of painting at home as a hobby turned into her love of transforming client's hair by hand-painting color for dimensional style.
