Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I moved to Dallas, Texas when I was 8 years old. I attended Rice University receiving a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Midway through undergrad, while volunteering at the local animal shelter, I found my calling helping animals. This led me to attend Texas A&M where I received a doctorate of veterinary medicine. I married my husband, Dr. Alec Wynne, in February 2023. Pets bring so much joy to our lives and I love being able to help them back. I also enjoy meeting the people who come along with those pets. I'm excited to be a part of the PSAH family and to get to know you and your furry family. Favorite Things: Rock climbing, learning to windsurf, reading, drawing

Dr. Jamie Carloni

Job Titles:
  • Veterinarian
I joined the P.S.A.H. team in July 2015. I am originally from NJ, and then moved to South Florida (Coral Springs) when I was 12. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree and pursued my love of veterinary medicine at The Ohio State University. I enjoy science and medicine, as well as interacting with clients and the pets they care about as much as I do. Every day is a different day in veterinary medicine with new people and patients, as well as the different cases we see daily. I married my husband, Gary, in February 2018. We welcomed our first son Kai in 2021 and our second son Cam in 2023. We also have an 8 year old Yorkie named Willow, a saltwater fish, and a chameleon. I'm happy to be a part of the Port Salerno Animal Hospital family and look forward to building new relationships for many years to come. Favorite Things: scuba diving, traveling, camping, movie watching
