Bio
Jason was graduated from West Virginia University in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a value-oriented project and personnel manager with experience in the design and construction of highway infrastructure, site work, coal processing, and natural gas site development. Jason has honed his skills in cost analysis and critical path method (CPM) scheduling while successfully managing relationships with the WVDOH, WVDEP, and various private and public entities.
Prior to starting work with Preston in 2008, he served as Project Engineer and Area Engineer in District 4 of the WVDOH, where he managed several Project Engineers and Supervisors. He also evaluated project staff and was involved in CPM schedules for numerous highway construction projects totaling more than $36 million. Additionally, Jason has a broad knowledge base in construction materials testing and analysis, bid proposal preparation, and constructability analysis.

Bio
Jeff is the Equipment Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing equipment utilization and direct communication with production and maintenance personnel on the job sites. He works with the procurement team for the evaluation of our equipment quality and service provided by current and potential vendors. Jeff knows the value in fulfilling commitment and expectations to our customers, thus ensuring the highest level of reliability with all of our equipment.
Jeff has 23 years' experience with a Caterpillar dealership, which included 16 years as a Field Service Technician, and the last 7 years as Branch Operations Manager. His previous experience with operational management of various divisions, hiring, training, evaluating, and providing direction to supervisors and personnel has allowed him to excel as the Equipment Operations Manager for Preston Contractors.
In addition, Jeff has implemented branch policies that were adopted at other branches and was responsible for the continued financial growth of the branch.
Jeff is certified in OSHA, MSHA, and SafeLandUSA, and holds a Class B WV CDL. Jeff served in the U.S. Marine Corps where he received extensive leadership training while receiving numerous awards recognizing personal achievements.

Bio
Ryan holds a bachelor's degree in business communications from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from Waynesburg University. He has built his reputation on paying attention to detail and pointing people in the right direction to get the job finished safely and effectively. He is involved with human resources, insurance, purchasing, IT, large equipment issues and repairs, financial planning for purchases, and working with employees.
Prior to being an officer of the MCI Group, Ryan started out as a laborer during college on a dirt and paving crew. After obtaining his first degree, he became a supervisor for the paving operations and small dirt crews. The three plus years he spent as a job supervisor gave him the knowledge to move into the office and become the human resources purchasing director while earning his MBA.
Ryan is an active member of the West Virginia Coal Association (WVCA) and the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC). He is also proficient with ISNetworld and PICS. Ryan is also an officer of Gulfstream West Investments (GWI), Inc.

Bio
With over 40 years of experience in financial and administrative settings, Sonny serves as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for all aspects of our financial and administrative operations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Accounting from West Virginia University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Prior to joining our company, Sonny has served as an accounting department head for a Fortune 500 company, has practiced public accounting for over 25 years, and most recently was the Controller for BFS Inc., operating in five states.

Bio
Wesley has been with Mountaineer Contractors for nearly 30 years. He is an excellent liaison between agencies and focuses on working through planning and problems. As Project Superintendent, Wesley has important duties relating to supervising and estimating on and off job sites.
