MYMA FABRICS - Key Persons

Mian M. Yusaf - Founder

Job Titles:
  • Founder
Mian Mohammed Yusaf was a man who unlike his brothers never settled for a cozy job in the Pakistan Railways. Instead, he followed his entrepreneurial spirit and opened a small fabric store at Delhi Gate inside the beautiful Walled City of Lahore. Hence, both the Hindus and Muslims were awarded equal quotas. Since the later were far less than the former, this resulted in a far greater allocation of cloth for the Muslims; an advantage they used to the maximum effect. With time the business grew and after formation of Pakistan, Mr. M. Yusaf brought his business into the newly formed Azam Cloth Market Lahore. His eldest son, Mr. M. Asif also joined him and helped him in running their shops in the infamous Nawab Bazar and Punjab Block. Always believing in the power of cooperation M. Yusaf M. Asif Wholesale Cloth Merchants managed to become distributor of Pakistani textile manufacturers such as Harnai Woolen Mills, Bannu Woolen Mills, Lawrencepur and Noble Fabrics. Today, both the souls of M. Yusaf and M. Asif have departed yet their name with tremendous goodwill is still alive. The business has carried forward to the youngest son of M. Yusaf, Mr. Mian M. Arif, who has been successfully managing and operating it for more than 30 years.
