Dr. Ashley Bucklin

Dr. Ashley Bucklin grew up in Bellevue, WA with her large family and her first golden retriever, Allie, who sparked her love for animals. She attended college and veterinary school at Tufts University and Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine respectively then moved back to the Seattle area to practice and be near her family again. Dr. Bucklin joined the veterinary team at Animal Hospital of Newport Hills in 2022. Her special interests include Surgery and Canine Behavior and she is fear free certified. In her free time she enjoys hiking and trail running with her golden retrievers Penguin and Nala as well as her partner David.

Dr. Brittany Gray

Dr. Brittany Gray graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2022. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Akron in 2018. She is a fear free certified professional. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Brittany moved to the PNW to pursue her hobbies of hiking, running, climbing, and hammocking. Brittany enjoys finding good coffee and ice cream spots. She has a labrador retriever mix named Buddy who she adopted after her first week of vet school.

Dr. Jody Thomas O

Dr. Jody Thomas O'Brien attended Michigan State University where she received her B.S. degree in Zoology with a specialization in Neurobiology and Animal Behavior in 1998. After spending a few years as a zookeeper at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek, Michigan, she went back to school and graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Upon graduation she moved to Seattle and began practicing veterinary medicine in a small animal practice. She has been at Animal Hospital of Newport Hills since 2010 and became the Medical Director in 2016. She and her husband Justin have a 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter, a tailless cat named Otter, an Axolotl and many fish.

Dr. Sharon Teng

Dr. Sharon Teng graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, after prior receiving her Bachelor in Zoology at WSU in 2014. Go COUGS! Sharon enjoys the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and traveling with family and friends. In her spare time, she loves to do yoga and pilates. Cuddling with her sweet kitty named "Tofu" is one of her favorites, at the same time she is also looking forward to furry additions in the future.
