Dr. Flynn graduated from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1976. After initial training in Surgery he commenced a practice in Skin Cancer and Cosmetic Surgery on the Gold Coast in Australia. He obtained a Dermatology qualification in UK and is also Board Certified by the American Board of Laser Surgery. Dr. Flynn is a Foundation Fellow of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and served as Chief Censor of the College and former CEO and a Past President. Specialising in Facial Cosmetic Surgery and non invasive facial rejuvenation techniques, Dr. Flynn is regularly invited to present at academic meetings in Australia and internationally and conducts training courses in cosmetic surgery and laser and cosmetic medicine. He has developed techniques of minimally invasive facial rejuvenation which are popularly used in Australia, New Zealand, SE Asia and USA. He is a pioneer and a leader in the development of thread techniques and their combination with other adjunctive procedures. Dr. Flynn presents training courses in facial contouring using injectable fillers and is a contributing author to texts on cosmetic surgery. Dr. Flynn's practice also encompasses Breast Augmentation, Breast Lifts, Abdominoplasty, and Lipoplasty. Dr. Flynn established and is the Publisher of the Journal of Cosmetic Surgery & Medicine, this is a peer reviewed Journal which is circulated throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe. Dr. Flynn consults for pharmaceutical companies on product and has assisted in development programmes. He has conducted surveys of adverse events in cosmetic surgery and medicine to ascertain proper treatment strategies. The results of this work are now featured in product information and risk management profiles internationally.

Dr Mario Marzola has been in the field of hair restoration surgery for over 30 years and has pioneered some of the techniques that are used globally. He has also been in the field of cosmetic surgery for many years and is a member of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). Dr Marzola's training in hair restoration originated in Australia and America, and he has continued to update his skills and knowledge both locally and internationally. He was the first person in the world to offer a school for international physicians to come and learn hair restoration procedures. He is regularly a faculty member at conferences in this field and is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Marzola was the president of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) in 1996. He is an active member on the board of governors for this association the largest association globally for Hair Restoration. He has attended and presented talks at every conference internationally since the association begun in 1993. Dr Mario Marzola is our primary proceduralist at Norwood Day Surgery, who leads a team of dedicated cosmetic professionals.

Dr Ramon Baba is a fully qualified specialist Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon and aesthetic surgeon. A Perth native, he studied dentistry at UWA before practicing in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand He subsequently studied medicine at the University of Queensland before returning to WA for his surgical training in 2009. As an intern he was awarded the prize for practicing with the greatest compassion at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He spent 2 years in the fields of plastic surgery and general surgery before commencing his specialist training. The WA training program is renowned for its intensive trauma workload and through this he developed extensive experience in both acute trauma management and post-traumatic facial reconstruction. After completing training in 2018 he undertook further fellowship training overseas in the fields of rhinoplasty, aesthetic surgery, and orthognathic surgery, studying with Dr Yong Ju Jang in Korea and Dr Mehmet Manisali in the UK. He then further developed his skills and was able to learn from eminent Australian cosmetic surgeon Dr Cary Kailis. Dr Baba's specialist interests include: cosmetic surgery facial plastic surgery facial recontouring transgender/feminisation surgery minimally invasive energy-based procedures and complex orthognathic surgery.
