Amy Kimmel - CHRO

Bio Amy Kimmel, Director Human Resources, has worked with the physicians of Orthopedic One since January 2003. Her career of more than 30 years in Human Resources has been exclusively in the healthcare industry. A native Ohioan, Amy studied Communications at the Cleveland State University and is a certified Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) as recognized by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Amy is dedicated to operational excellence, aligning the HR functions to support and engage exceptional associates with the organizational mission; Patients First. Amy is married and enjoys spending free time with her husband, volunteering with the Franklin County Dog Shelter, gardening, and family including her children and two dogs.

Brett Shellhammer

Bio As Director of Health Information Management, Brett Shellhammer is responsible for leading and directing health information management services across Orthopedic One, striving for compliance and promoting best practices and education among his team. Brett oversees areas including the electronic medical record, health and consumer informatics, and related regulatory requirements at the state and federal levels. Brett is also responsible for initiating, reviewing, negotiating, implementing, and maintaining contracts with vendors for all outsourced HIM services. He works closely with executive leadership and the information systems team to ensure that information systems support the current and future needs of the department and organization. Brett received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration from the University of Findley. He resides in Westerville and is married with two young children.

Bridget Burke

Bio As Director of Hand Therapy at Orthopedic One, Bridget Burke OTR, CHT leads the largest group of hand and upper extremity specialists in Ohio. Bridget values quality, evidence-based practice and feels it is important to look at the entire extremity to ensure full system balance is restored. Trained as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Pittsburgh, Bridget ensures that treatment is driven by patient specific goals. She acquired her Certification in Hand Therapy in 1996 and understands the importance of continuing to seek knowledge and advancement in the exciting world of hand therapy. Bridget began working with the physicians of the Cardinal Orthopedic, now Orthopedic One, in 2001 with the goal of establishing a collaborative physician/therapist experience for patients with upper extremity conditions. Bridget enjoys traveling, hiking, biking and having fun with family and friends.

Brooke Burns - COO

Bio Brooke joined Orthopedic One as Chief Operations Officer in November 2022. Brooke was previously a member of executive leadership at Adena Health System, where she held the position of executive vice president for the hospital systems medical group. Brooke received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, where she also went on to complete both Master of Business Administration and Master of Health Administration programs. Her graduate training included internships and fellowships with the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and ProMedica Health System in Toledo. Known for building and mentoring high-performance teams, Brooke has demonstrated an ability to positively shape organizational culture and drive strong and sustainable improvements in market share, patient access, recruitment and patient satisfaction. As COO at Orthopedic One, Brooke provides leadership for clinic and therapy operation, and all related lines of business, by working with the CEO, Board of Directors, and the management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.

Corey Van Hoff

Dr. Van Hoff is a board certified; fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeon who specializes in the treatments of all types of fractures including those caused by high and low energy mechanisms. Dr. Van Hoff has advanced training in the treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures, as well as those fractures that occur around major joints. He is also an expert in treating fractures that have failed to heal or to heal properly and require specialized care. He was born and raised in Charleston, WV. And is the youngest, and only boy, of 3 children. His mother, Cris, is a retired nurse and father, Robert, works for the West Virginia Lottery. He has been married since 2001 to his college sweetheart Karen who works as a freelance concert photographer. They currently have 2 horses and a dog named Jet. In his free time he enjoys a multitude of sports including tennis, basketball, and golf. Dr. Van Hoff and Karen enjoy cheering on the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL as season ticket holders, playing board games together and are both PADI Scuba certified

David Robie

Dr. Robie is a Board Certified Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Surgeon with an additional subspecialty certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine by the Amer ican Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, recertified by national examination in 2017. His practice emphasizes an arthroscopic approach to treat a broad range of prob lems in the upper and lower extremities including shoulder and knee instability, soft tissue injuries and tendon problems. His past experience as an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon, together with a 20 year history as a high school team physician, allows him to care for a wide array of orthopedic problems in this patient population. He also performs total joint replacement and unicompartmental replacements of the knee. He is also currently the Orthopedic consultant for Ohio Wesleyan University.

Dr. Andrew Campbell

Dr. Andrew Campbell is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. He completed his undergraduate degree, medical degree, and orthopedic residency at The Ohio State University, where he earned multiple awards for clinical excellence, leadership, and teaching. Dr. Campbell then went on to complete his fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. His clinical research has been published in high impact journals and he serves as a reviewer for the orthopedic literature. Dr. Campbell has a special interest in the direct anterior and direct superior approaches to hip surgery, and is certified in Mako robotic-assisted hip, knee, and partial knee replacements. He also has extensive training in complex primary and revision total hip and knee replacement. Dr. Campbell has an interest in sports and volunteering. He has provided sports medicine coverage for the Columbus City Schools' football teams and coached football at Worthington Kilbourne High School. He also served as a volunteer for the Steps for Sarcoma Walk and the New Life Free Clinic. Dr. Campbell and his wife, Amanda, who is a pediatric oncologist, enjoy traveling and spending time outside with their young son.

Dr. Brent Bickel

Dr. Brent Bickel is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with additional fellowship training in the specialty of hand, elbow, and shoulder. Dr. Bickel has extensive experience in treating common conditions of the hand and arm, including: carpal tunnel syndrome, tendon injuries, arthritis of the hand and wrist, tennis elbow, and fracture care. Dr. Bickel received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus Ohio, and then continued his training at the Cleveland Clinic in a combined hand/upper extremity fellowship. Dr. Bickel cares for patients at our Gahanna/Reynoldsburg location on the east side of Columbus. Dedicated to his community, Dr. Bickel has volunteered for Lifeline of Ohio and a smoking cessation program in Central Ohio schools. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Ohio Orthopaedic Society, and The American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Bickel has presented at conferences and contributed to medical journals on topics such as nerve and ligament repair, wrist arthritis, and tumors of the hand and wrist.

Dr. Brian L. Davison

Dr. Brian L. Davison focuses on general orthopedics and orthopedic trauma. His special interests include the care of challenging fractures and adult reconstructive surgery including joint replacement. Dr. Davison received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. His internship and residency were completed at University of Wisconsin Hospitals, and he completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma and Reconstruction at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Dr. Davison is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, Ohio Orthopaedic Society, Columbus Orthopaedic Society, Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society, and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Bruce French

Dr. Craig N. Dimitris

Dr. Craig N. Dimitris is fellowship trained in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery. Bio Geoff serves as the Director of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine at Orthopedic One. He is a graduate of both the physical therapy and athletic training programs at The Ohio State University. Geoff holds a Masters in Allied Health Management from The Ohio State University, and went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the College of Saint Scholastica. Additionally, he holds a board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. While pursuing his physical therapy degree, Geoff was a four-year varsity letterman and five-time scholar athlete at The Ohio State University as a member of the lacrosse team. After finishing his college athletic career and graduating from the physical therapy program, Geoff spent two years in the athletic department at The Ohio State University. During this time, he completed an athletic training internship program and became a certified athletic trainer. Geoff began his career at Orthopedic ONE in 2002, and has excelled in a physician owned practice environment that focuses on quality patient care over all else. Tasked with developing a comprehensive rehabilitation practice in 2006, Geoff entered into a senior leadership role. Under his guidance, Orthopedic ONE Therapy Services is now a thriving and award-winning service line, with close to 200 licensed rehabilitation and sports medicine providers, 10 locations sprawling the central Ohio footprint, and patient satisfaction and quality scores in the 99th percentile. In addition to his administrative functions, Geoff prides himself on maintaining a healthy clinical practice. He specializes in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic pathology in the upper and lower extremities, with a specific interest in sports medicine. Kathie Stanley

Mark D'Aloisio - CEO, COO

Bio Mark joined Orthopedic One as COO in October 2020 and was named CEO in January 2023. As Chief Executive Officer of Ohio's largest physician-owned orthopedic practice, Mark spends his days in pursuit of the highest quality of care at the best possible value for patients. He works closely with physician and administrative leadership, as well as community and industry partners, to identify and implement new opportunities to meet these goals. Before joining Orthopedic ONE, he served as Vice President of Operations at Mount Carmel East, the flagship hospital of central Ohio's Mount Carmel Health System. Mark holds a bachelor and master degree in physical therapy from Wayne State University in Michigan and was a practicing therapist until 2011. He went on to complete his Master of Business Administration at Arizona State University and later a post-graduate administrative residency and fellowship with Trinity Health. Mark lives in Dublin with his wife and two children.

Stephanie Heffron - CFO

Bio Stephanie Heffron joined Orthopedic One as Chief Financial Officer in November 2022. Stephanie has held several finance leadership positions at organizations including OhioHealth, the Economic and Community Development Institute, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Battelle National Biodefense Institute, Battelle Memorial Institute, among others. Stephanie has vast experience in strategic planning, productivity improvement, and financial projections. All key qualities of a CFO, and vital to the continued success and growth of Orthopedic One. Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree from Capital University and went on to complete her MBA at The Ohio State University. She volunteers her time as board member and finance chair in support of several community organizations. Stephanie is a Grove City native, but recently moved to the Dublin area. She likes to stay active and enjoys biking, dancing, strength training and playing with her 4-year-old black lab mix, Shadow.
