Dr Clint Gurtman

Dr Clint Gurtman is a consultant clinical & forensic psychologist and director of an independent psychology practice in Melbourne. Dr Gurtman maintains a busy clinical practice, and is regularly engaged as a consultant to provide assessments and advice on complex psychological matters by clients such as Courts, workplaces, and government bodies. He is a board-approved supervisor and held an academic position for nearly 10 years where he supervised postgraduate students and provided industry training. He has won various awards for his innovation and service to psychologist training. His education and training expertise are in creating simulations, establishing competency through Objective Structured Clinical Examinations, and credentialing new supervisors under AHPRA. In recent years Dr Gurtman has also served as a Committee Member for the Melbourne Branch of The Australian Psychological Society, and together with Dr Eide and Ms. Chochowski has organised a high volume of exceptional continuing education programs for members delivered by experts in their respective fields.

Dr Peter Eide

Dr Peter Eide has been involved in training in both a paid and voluntary capacity role for many years. He was previously a member of faculty at the Victoria University Department of Psychology for more than 5 years. He has served on the board of the Australian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (AACBT) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) organising professional development activities for psychologists and other mental health clinicians. He was a committee member of the AACBT Melbourne branch from 2003 to 2008 and the APS Melbourne Branch since 2009 to 2020. He was the deputy Chair of the APS Melbourne Branch from six years and the Chair for four years. Dr Eide has maintained a busy private psychology practice since 2008 with an interest in psychological treatment for adolescent and adult men who have depression. He has also worked in the Drug and Alcohol agencies and Youth Mental Health services. Dr Eide is also a director and supervisor at Melbourne Affordable Psychology (MAP), a not-for-profit company providing low-cost psychological treatment to members of the community who are unable to access Medicare. MAP also provides provisional psychologists an opportunity to complete internships in order to obtain their full registration.

Ms Julijana Chochovski

Ms Julijana Chochovski formerly worked as a researcher in Neuroendocrinology, prior to practicing as a clinical psychologist and establishing a career in education and training. She was formerly the Director of Community Programs at Cairnmillar Institute. In that role she established programs delivering mental health training to medical and allied health practitioners in various areas such as suicide prevention and intervention, psychological intervention with older adults, bullying in adolescents and conflict resolution in the workplace. She was formerly an Executive Committee Member for the Melbourne Branch of the Australian Psychological Society, playing an integral role in delivering numerous high-quality training events for Psychologists and other mental health clinicians throughout Victoria.
