Our Firm was founded in 1896 by Judge George Rountree, an 1877 Harvard College graduate, and the grandfather of current special counsel, George Rountree III. George Rountree, Jr. joined his father in the practice of law in 1928 after graduation from Harvard College and Harvard Law School, and continued the tradition of providing sound counsel and exceptional legal service for more than fifty years. In 1962, a few years after graduating from the University of Arizona School of Law, George Rountree III joined the Firm and continued the family tradition. After his father's passing in 1979, George Rountree III became senior partner at the Firm, a position that he held for thirty-seven years...
