Raghu Handicapped and Research Centre is an initiative to empower the mentally Challenged group in the society enabling them to lead a life of dignity and respect. The centre aims to develop the physical, mental and intellectual capacity of the mentally Challenged people for their all round development. Mentally Challenged group constitutes around 10% of the Nepalese population. With this very important context the all round development of this group isn't only the necessity of this group but the duty and also the opportunity for the nation to add to its valuable human resource. Thus, mainstreaming this important group is a very vital for a peaceful, prosperous and a just society... In the present scenario the government investment for the mentally retarded group is very low and insignificant.
