Beth Norton earned a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Lamar University and a Master's Degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. She has worked for Child Protective Services, University Hospital in Oklahoma, and Arlington Rehabilitation Hospital. She is a veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard. She has been a substitute teacher for SJCS since 2017. Beth has been married to her husband Freddie for over 20 years and they have two boys. Gabriel and Aiden both attended Holy Rosary/ St. Joseph Catholic School from PreK to 8th grade. Gabriel is attending University of Texas at Arlington and Aiden is attending Texas Tech University. Mrs. Norton and her family are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoys swimming, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cheryl Horton

Cheryl Horton teaches 4th Grade Texas History and 5th Grade U.S. History. She is a life-long member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Arlington, where she and her husband Colby met and were married 25 years ago. Mrs. Horton has three children - Julia, who graduated from Nolan Catholic in 2023 and now attends the University of Texas at Arlington; Emma, who is a junior at Nolan Catholic; and Matthew, who is in 7th grade at SJCS. Mrs. Horton spends her free time with her kids, swimming, watching movies, or playing board games. You'll also find her on the soccer sidelines or basketball stands cheering for Matthew and his team. Oh, and there's lots of cookie baking mixed in there, too!

Chris Cullen

Chris Cullen has been a part of the St. Joseph family for 6 years as the band director and joined in 2020 as the music instructor. His expertise lies in the area of music, which he holds a Bachelor's degree from University of Texas in Arlington. He can play about 20 different instruments but is most proficient at the trumpet and the guitar. Mr. Cullen is a huge fan of the Dallas Mavericks and loves to read Marvel Comics.

Jennifer Lara

Jennifer Lara grew up in the small town of Beeville, in south Texas, before attending Southwest Texas State University (now renamed Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas where she received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1998. A few short years after graduating, she decided to follow her heart and get her elementary teaching certification through ECAP, an alternative certification program in Ft. Worth, Texas. Since 2001, Mrs. Lara has taught Preschool (2 year olds), Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, 1 st and 4 th grades. She taught in public school for several years before taking time off to raise her then 2 young children. She taught Pre-K at St. Vincent de Paul Learning Center while her daughter and son attended the program and then Pre-K and Kindergarten at Children's University. Jennifer returned to teaching 1 st grade in Arlington ISD for two years before she was blessed with the gift of a third child. She took time off with her youngest son before returning to the Learning Center at SVDP again when he was old enough to attend, and she taught preschool. Mrs. Lara has been humbled greatly by the opportunity to join the SJCS community as part of the teaching staff . She has been happily married to her college sweetheart, David, for 19 years. She and David have three children: Isabel (14), Noah (12), and Elijah (4). Eli will be attending Pre-K at SJCS for the 2018-2019 school year. The Lara family are dedicated parishioners at St. Vincent de Paul in Arlington.

Julie Stahl earned a bachelor's degree in Art Education, with a studio emphasis in Sculpture from Texas Christian University. She was an Elementary Art Teacher teacher in Arlington ISD and Grand Prairie ISD before she had children. She was Teacher of the Year for GPISD in 2011. She has also worked as a figure skating coach for 21 years. She teaches private, group lessons and synchronized skating teams, for adults and children. Julie has been married to her husband Matt for 17 years and they have three girls. Annabelle, Penelope and Emilia attend St. Joseph Catholic School. Julie and Matt went to Nolan Catholic High School, and were the Marian and Chaminade Award recipients their graduation years. Mrs. Stahl and her family are parishioners at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She enjoys skating, crafting, traveling and spending time with her family.

Kelly Wingate is a long time resident of Arlington, Texas. She attended school in the AISD school system and ultimately graduated from Martin High School. After graduation, Kelly attended Tarrant County College where she earned her Associate Degree in American Sign Language and started working at a Private School in Arlington. While there, Kelly took on many roles. She started in a classroom and assisted with various ages and classes. Thereafter, she moved on to a more administrative role assisting in every need including admissions, event planning, and management of staff. In addition to her administrative role, Kelly is also a wife & mother. She and her husband, Steve, have been married for 18 years and have a daughter, Presley (13). Most of the time you can find them participating in outdoor activities like kayaking & hiking when not at school or work. You can also find them as part of the parish at St.Vincent de Paul. After 25 years, Kelly decided to take a leap of faith and join St. Joseph's staff. She looks forward to being a part of the SJCS community, meeting new families, and assisting in any way possible!

Michelle Doskocil earned a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Texas Christian University. She was an Early Childhood teacher in Grand Prairie before she had children. She has taught in both in public and private schools' settings. Michelle taught 1 st grade here for 7 years before becoming the Learning Specialist. She has a certificate for STEM from the National Institute for STEM Education (NISE) and she is the co-moderator for the National Junior Honor Society here at St. Joseph Catholic School. Michelle has been married to her husband Eddy for 29 years and they have three boys. Kyle, Jake, and Clay attended Holy Rosary/ St. Joseph Catholic School from PreK to 8 th grade. The boys all graduated from Nolan Catholic just like Michelle and her husband. Kyle and Jake graduated from Texas Tech University. Clay is a graduate from Tarleton State University. Mrs. Doskocil and her family are parishioners at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Diane Price

Mrs. Diane Price is a product of Catholic education, having attended St. Andrew Catholic school as a child, along with her eight siblings. She received her B.A. in English/Elementary Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her M. Ed. in Educational Leadership with a Certification in Catholic School Leadership from Creighton University. Mrs. Price has taught in both the Arlington Independent School District as well as the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth in grade levels ranging from first through seventh. Mrs. Price and her husband, Shannon, have been married for thirty-three years. They have one son named Walker, who also graduated from the diocesan schools of St. Andrew and Nolan Catholic High School, both in Fort Worth. Walker graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and currently resides in Burleson, Texas where he gives back to the diocese by writing for the North Texas Catholic. Mrs. Price has given back to her parish community in a variety of ways. She and her husband have volunteered for the Sponsor Couple Program, mentoring engaged couples for more than fifteen years. She has participated in the Funeral Ministry and spent several years volunteering for Cub Scouts. She and her family currently assist with perpetual adoration on First Fridays at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church in Fort Worth. She and her family love to hike and spend time outdoors. Her commitment to her faith and Catholic education is her daily motivation. Helping others to grow both spiritually and academically in an environment steeped in the Catholic faith, ultimately fulfilling the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School is her goal.

Mrs. Melissa Wolanin

Mrs. Melissa Wolanin earned a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University and worked in the consumer product industry after college. Following that, she was blessed to become a stay at home mom and avid volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic School, where her sons attended. During this time, she pursued further professional endeavors and earned her Certification as a Texas Educator. Having taught at St. Joseph since 2012, she has also earned certification through the National Institute for STEM Education. Recently, she also earned the Diocese of Fort Worth Tier III Catechist Training. Mrs. Wolanin and her husband Steven have been married 28 years. They have two children. The oldest, a son aged 22, is a graduate student in Criminal Justice. Their youngest, a son aged 19, is in his second year pursuing a degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management. She enjoys reading, spending time with her dogs, and enjoying activities with family and friends. She and her family have been parishioners at St. Joseph since 2001, where she has served the community as a volunteer in LifeTeen Faith Formation and Confirmation Preparation classes.

Mrs. Sharon Waldrep has taught Kindergarten for 25 years here at St. Joseph. She worked at Shackelford Junior High in Arlington Independent School District teaching life science and coaching volleyball/ basketball for five years at Shackelford Junior before joining the Holy Rosary staff in 1999. Science, creative writing, reading, math and religion are particular passions for this ambassador. While her daughters were in school here at Holy Rosary, she coached volleyball and basketball as well.

Mrs. Vickie Bill is new to Saint Joseph Catholic School this year, relocating from Virginia this summer. Mrs. Bill has been a Catholic school educator for 16 years and prior to relocating to Texas taught 5th Grade, Middle School Math and served as Middle School Team Lead, NJHS Moderator, and Yearbook Moderator, as well as a variety of service oriented projects. Mrs. Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Strayer University and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction - Leadership from Liberty University.
