Dr Nazim Ahmad

Dr Nazim Ahmad is a Consultant Urological Surgeon, who settled on the Fraser Coast in 2010, after working in Melbourne for 3 years. Prior to that Dr Ahmad worked in Westmead Hospital in Sydney. Dr Ahmad is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, and has performed urological surgery in Australia since 2005. He is also a Fellow of the European Board of Urology, achieving a maximum score, in Paris in 2004. For the convenience of his patients, Dr Ahmad has recently purchased a GreenLight Laser, and has commenced laser prostatectomies for patients with benign prostate conditions. Dr Ahmad has been instrumental in developing a regular Urological service in the Fraser Coast region and is now extending his services to the greater Wide Bay.

Garry Weston

Garry has a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and is an Associate CPA. Garry has over 33 years in Financial / Management in the private and public health care sectors. Prior to commencing at St Stephen's, Garry held the position of Director of Finance and Administration with Ramsay Healthcare for 16 years, prior to that he held similar positions with St Vincent's Hospital in Lismore and Little Company of Mary's Calvary Hospital in Wagga Wagga. Garry is pleased to be a member of the executive team at St Stephen's Hospital and working with St Stephen's Team Outside work, Garry competes in triathlon, having competed in several Hervey Bay 100's, Noosa, Mooloolaba and other interstate triathlons. Garry also qualified to represent Australia in his age group at the 2018 triathlon world cup grand final held at the Gold Coast

Peter Wood

Peter Wood is a highly experienced healthcare leader with 30 years' clinical and leadership experience gained in Australia and internationally. For more than 20 years, Peter has held senior leadership positions in healthcare, including most recently within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, where he was Executive Director Fraser Coast. His previous appointments have included Executive Director BMI Healthcare and General Manager roles with portfolios including medicine, surgery, cardiology, emergency services and critical care. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science with honours in Health Management, a postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Management, and a Master of Healthcare Leadership and Management at the universities of Lancaster and Auckland. Peter has special interests in matching healthcare with population demand, exploring First Nations healthcare needs, and complementing private and public healthcare services. He looks forward to intertwining the development of local healthcare services with his PHD study in developing cardiology services to match population need. Peter commenced as General Manager of St Stephen's Hospital in April 2023.

Rev. Keren Seto

St Stephen's Hospital Executive is pleased to welcome Rev. Keren Seto as Pastoral Care Manager for the Hospital. After study and work within the areas of education, Dental Therapy and the sports and fitness industry, Keren responded to God's call to prepare for full-time ministry in 1997. Over the ensuing years she has been privileged to be involved in a variety of ministry contexts including as Executive Office of the Synod Chaplaincy Commission. Keren obtained her Bachelor of Theology Honours through the Australian College of Theology in 2005. Since joining the Uniting Church in 2006 she has completed further studies in the areas of Leadership, Pastoral and Spiritual Care, Supervision as Ministry and Mission Coaching and is currently involved in the Qld Synod's Plentiful Leadership Program and has served in congregations, chaplaincy, Presbytery and Synod roles. Keren enjoys, swimming, being in nature and reading.
