It was set up by Sherman Finnemore nearly a decade ago. Sherman grew up around stone and joined the family business aged 18. After 16 years, in 2013, he decided to branch out to form his own specialist company, Uppingham Stone, and its sister company Uppingham Stoves... Uppingham Stoves. Our award winning stonemasons carve your fireplace to order in our Rutland workshop in local limestone. We are also HETAS to supply and fit stoves. Our showroom has fireplaces log burners on show from, Stovax, Firebelly, Saltfire, Burley, Ekol and Dovre
