WAAIJ STUD

Waaij Stud was founded in the 1980s by the Van der Waaij family and began as a small-scale hobby breeding farm alongside the dairy farm. In the late 1990s, the dairy farm was terminated and the stables filled more and more with horses. In 1994 the mare Minola (Quick Star x Nimmerdor) was purchased as a foal and she has had an important contribution to the development of Waaij Stud. Since 2012, Waaij Stud has expanded and about fifteen to twenty foals are raised annually and later trained for the sport. Since 2018, Jasper and Peter van der Waaij have organized the sporthorse auction The Youngsters Auction at Waaij Stud and since then, many horses from Waaij Stud have been sold all over the world... At Waaij Stud we are always looking for quality horses for the future. We concentrate mainly on breeding and buying foals and try to raise around fifteen to twenty horses each year.
