Adams Thompson

A North Carolina native, Amanda joined Yellow Duck Marketing in 2018 as Director of Account Services and brings over seven years of agency experience with her, including extensive time spent managing large-scale projects ranging from R&D-driven products to sponsorships with major universities and everything in between. She began her marketing career at Fort Wayne, Indiana-based Asher Agency, where she most recently worked as an Account Supervisor. There she analyzed market research data and developed and managed marketing plans for more than 1,200 Subway restaurants along the East Coast, as well as Fantastic Sam's Cut and Color Salons. Amanda generated $1.1 million in annual client sales by leading the market launch of several new products and both internal and external promotional campaigns. With her ability to provide excellent service to clients paired with her research-based management skills and attention to detail, as Director of Client Services, Amanda keeps Yellow Duck's accounts on track as she is the point person on many of our accounts. Amanda supports the strategic direction and planning of all facets of our projects and has extensive experience in driving projects and teams forward.

Kay Everatt

Job Titles:
  • Art Director
Kay Everatt is our Art Director at Yellow Duck Marketing and also leads our video and motion graphics capabilities. Since joining Yellow Duck Marketing in 2015, she jumped right in, assisting, developing and creating for various YDM clients. She has designed a variety of marketing pieces, motion graphics and videos for TreesCharlotte, JLL, Childress Klein, Waverly, and more. She has also managed social media for IREM, Waverly and TreesCharlotte. Prior to joining the Duck Pond, Kay held a variety of internships and freelancing contracts doing everything from blog writing, print design, web design, email marketing, social media, photo shoots and beyond. She holds a Visual Communications degree from the School of Journalism at the University of South Carolina. When she's not working, you can find Kay working on her fixer upper home with her husband and two pups. Her favorite past time is being out on the boat with a good book and she is a die-hard T-Swift fan.

Kaycee Mason

Kaycee Mason is the Strategic New Business Director at YDM. She will likely be the first person you encounter from our team as she learns more about your company or organization and how YDM can serve your needs. Her role also entails participating in community events, serving on local leadership committees and being accessible to our potential clients. At Yellow Duck, Kaycee is committed to providing creative solutions to our client's challenges by serving as a trusted expert advisor. She enjoys the creative aspect of the sales process, understanding the client's needs, and bringing their vision to life. Kaycee was fortunate enough to grow up between Newport Beach, CA, Scottsdale, AZ, and the beaches of Mexico. She has always been passionate about adventure and learning about new cultures, which she developed from an early age through her frequent travels. After completing her college education, she started her career in the Timeshare industry in the Mexican Rivera. This gave her unique opportunities to promote various tropical destinations up and down the coastal beaches on both sides of the country. In 2008, she came back to the United States and continued her career in hospitality. She worked as a B2B Regional Area Sales Manager for an Atlantic-based hospitality staffing company. Her role involved supporting over 200 hotel and resort accounts across Arizona, Colorado, and California. This opened doors to work with several luxury brands, including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Wyndham Vacations, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, and Casino Arizona. After working in Hotel Operations, Sales, & Marketing, Kaycee was invited to work with Pacific Hospitality Group as a mentor for their college MIT program and Servant leadership, which led to the opening of 10 boutique and corporate hotels. In her free time, Kaycee loves spending time with her husband, three kids, and doodle dog, Cooper. She enjoys anything related to water -including lake life, beach life, and river life -as well as trying new foods and exploring new places.

Molly Holland

Job Titles:
  • Senior Account Manager
Molly joins Yellow Duck Marketing as Sr. Account Manager and brings with her 15 years of experience in building client relationships with a diverse client mix encompassing real estate development, non-profit, outdoor apparel and grocery retail, and higher education. She is very customer service focused and is proactive in communicating with her clients and learning the ins and outs of their business to ensure their marketing initiatives are efficient and effective. Originally from East Tennessee, Molly has called Charleston, SC, home since middle school. She grew up on the barrier islands of Charleston and graduated from a small high school on Johns Island, where she met her high school sweetheart turned husband Nick. An athlete at heart, Molly grew up playing golf on Kiawah Island and accepted a basketball scholarship from Spartanburg Methodist College. In 2004, she graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in corporate communication and has been living the agency life ever since. When she's not working, chances are Molly is outside with her family doing some kind of fun activity. An avid sports woman, Molly loves exercising, gardening, reading, playing golf, basketball and spending time with her husband, Nick, their kids, Adyson and Patrick, and their loving rescue pup, Red.

Rachel Carow

Rachel is the design wizard who produces all the stuff that's fun to look at. She got her degree in Studio Art/Graphic Design from Binghamton University (that's in NY) in 2005. She has been working for the last ten years doing design, printing, publishing and marketing. She started her career in New York City as a Graphic Designer for a printing company, 1-800 Postcards where she learned her love for designing for print. Her next job took her to The Parenting Group where she worked as the Associate Art Director for the marketing departments of four national magazines, Parenting, Babytalk, Working Mother, and Conceive. Her work there involved interfacing with national brands such as Coca-Cola, Target, Babies'R'Us and Bass Pro Shops. At YDM, she is the creative mind behind Childress Klein's corporate rebrand and has collaborated with the YDM team to brand over 15 companies and projects. Other notable work includes two Charlotte Housing Authority Annual Reports, a magazine for Piedmont Natural Gas and FreeMoreWest's 5K on the Greenway. Rachel currently resides in Fort Mill with her husband and daughters. She enjoys staying active, playing board games and the cold weather (seriously!).
