THE LAW FACTORY - Key Persons
Alex has worked for The Law Factory since the year 2000. He has dealt with a diverse range of clients from all areas of the legal market, including criminal & civil legal aid, high street practices, commercial firms and charities during his 22 years with the firm. Alex is our New Business Manager and specialises in OFR, accounts reconstruction & problem solving.
Andrew has known Jeremy and Debbie for a number of years and has been assisting The Law Factory with specific projects and working for our non-legal clients since 2017. Andrew works as a Consultant and is a highly experienced Project and Fixed Asset accountant.
Angelina joined us in January 2020. She has returned to accounting after a number of years out of the sector bringing up her family. She is fully AAT qualified and works on a wide variety of legal clients including conveyancing and general high street practices.
Ashling joined us in June 2017 having decided on a career change from teaching science. She is now fully AAT qualified. She deals with several of our large conveyancing and legal aid practices. Ashling is also keen to develop her training skills by joining Alex in writing articles and blogs for TLF.
Charlotte joined The Law Factory in January 2017 having worked in general accounts at her previous job. She deals with a variety of our clients including large legally aided firms, niche and general high street practices. She also helps to manage staff work allocation and queries.
Chris joined us in December 2021 as an apprentice legal cashier. He started his AAT Level 3 studies in September 2022. Chris is works on a wide variety of legal software packages and practices.
Deborah qualified as a Solicitor in 1988 and worked in private practice in London and the West Midlands until retiring from practice in 2006 to join Jeremy at The Law Factory. With an original background in banking, she is well placed to deal with the firm's administration including accounts, billing, contracts and human resources. She became Jeremy's partner in the business in 2009.
Grace joined us in November 2023. Having a Law Degree and accounts experience she is a perfect addition to our team. Grace works on a wide variety of legal software packages and practices.
Jeremy started working as a legal cashier In London in 1987 and set up his own company in 1990. The business now encompasses a wide range of law firms across the country and currently employs ten members of staff. In 2006, Jeremy and his team created their own digital slip system called Lawslip. This web-based software has been instrumental in changing the way information is exchanged with our clients and made outsourcing their accounts easier. Jeremy has extensive consultancy experience and has been on the management committee of several firms. The diverse nature of our client base ensures that Jeremy is well equipped to assist our clients with any changes affecting the profession. His over-riding philosophy since the business began is personal involvement, a culture he has instilled in all those who work for him.
Josh joined us on an ad hoc basis in December 2021 to assist us with our administration. We are very pleased that he has decided to stay and started his AAT Level 3 studies in September 2022. Josh works on a number of different clients and software packages.
Rebecca joined us in February 2022, having worked in an accountancy practice as well as a variety of companies outside the legal sector. She is working closely with Alex on some of our larger clients, more complex clients.
Scott returned to work for us in June 2021 after leaving to work for an accountancy firm. Scott is fully AAT qualified and deals with a wide variety of firms including conveyancing and legal aid practices.
