Dr. Amanda Stout

Dr. Stout graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry on the Dean's Honor List in 2017. She first became interested in the visual system while completing her Bachelor of Science at McGill University in Montreal (graduating in 2011 with a major in Anatomy & Cell Biology and a minor in Neuroscience). With a focus on primary eye care for the whole family, Dr. Stout enjoys finding creative solutions for unmet visual needs and helping patients gain a better understanding of their eye conditions. She takes special interest in Myopia Control, Binocular Vision, and Dry Eye/Ocular Surface Disease.

Dr. Sarah Cheng

Dr. Cheng was born and raised in Edmonton, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at New England College of Optometry in 2013. Growing up in the Millwoods community she saw her local optometrist annually and quickly gravitated to the profession. Seeing optometry as an opportunity to deliver quality and patient centered care is one of the most enjoyable aspects of her profession. During her time spent in Boston she acquired the knowledge and skills to serve patients from all ages and backgrounds. Her most memorable experiences during this time was working in Boston's community centers and the Veteran's Affair Hospitals.

Dr. Sunny Mehta

Dr. Mehta was born and raised in Edmonton and attended the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. He graduated in 2004 and moved back to Edmonton to be close to his family and pursue employment opportunities. He worked in group practices in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert and Lloydminster. Dr. Mehta settled down in Edmonton and got married in 2008. Since that time, he has started a young family. He is interested in several eye pathologies and research. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and friends, including playing golf in the summers and traveling with his family.
