BPR AUDIT - Key Persons
Bernie founded BPR Audit in 1999. He has had extensive external audit experience with a multi-national accounting firm as well as CFO, internal audit and senior management experience with other multi-nationals. Bernie has a passionate focus on client service and delivery.
Bernie's external audit experience includes Company audits, SMSFs, Public Companies, Not-For-Profits, Trust Accounts, Foreign Subsidiaries, Grant Acquittal Statements, AFSL Licenses, and RTOs. He guides Clients through the audit process, drawing on his experience to assist Clients in finding solutions and practical ways to improve their systems and processes.
Ernest is currently completing a Masters in Accounting and is a recent entrant to SMSF Auditing. Ernest has well rounded experience in accounting in general, which has included roles in financial and management accounting including valued experience in accounting software packages such as MYOB. With Ernest's excellent knowledge of accounting, has picked up SMSF auditing quickly.

Florence joined BPR Audit from roles in commercial accounting including with a leading French wine group operating in Australia. Florence is an excellent auditor with terrific attention to detail and willingness to expand her skill set.
Jenny is a recent addition to BPR Audit. She has over 10 years of SMSF auditing, accounting, and bookkeeping. She previously worked as an SMSF auditor with a mid-tier accounting firm in Central West, NSW for 9 years and a well-established accounting group in Riverina region NSW before joining BPR. Jenny has recently passed the SMSF auditor competency exam and is currently working toward attaining her accreditation of becoming an SMSF Registered Auditor. Current specialisation: SMSF Audits
Jessica has over five years' experience in SMSF administration, taxation and audit. Jessica previously worked for a leading National Mid-Tier Accounting firm. Jessica has a well-rounded background with a strong understanding of client needs, attention to detail and superannuation.
Phil joined the audit team in July 2019. He has in excess of 25 years' experience in SMSF Administration having been a partner in Malcolm Gray accountants in Hobart, former Head of Administration Services and Director at Superconcepts and founding director of SMSF Works.
Phil subsequently sold his interest in SMSF Works and has been independently consulting to the SMSF Industry for the past few years and has joined the BPR Audit team as a part time consultant. To our considerable benefit. Phil has excellent management, client and technical skills. Furthermore Phil had past experience in audit, prior to joining BPR Audit. In addition Phil has considerable experience in the implementation and improvement of SMSF Administrations systems.

Regiina has worked in various finance and general management roles including in shipping, manufacturing and wholesaling. Regiina's background brings considerable and diverse commercial experience to the practice. Regiina has a natural interest in information technology. Regiina provides the firm with audit, accounting, practice management and IT skills.

Sherman has been working in SMSF audit for over five years. Sherman previously worked for a large specialist SMSF audit firm. Sherman has tremendous attention to detail and focus on meeting client expectations. Sherman has a passion for furthering her career in the self managed superannuation sector.
Terje worked for Arthur Anderson and Ernst and Young in audit and assurance services in Europe for eleven years before moving to Ernst and Young's Melbourne office. Terje was an Audit Manager who worked across several jurisdictions. In the Melbourne office of Ernst and Young Terje specialised in Transaction Advisory Services before moving to BPR Audit. Terje provides the firm with sound technical, financial reporting, client relationship and system skills.
Vince has been working in the superannuation industry since 2014 after graduated from his degree. He previously worked for an SMSF specialist firm prior joining BRP Audit in April 2021. He has experience in SMSF audits for a wide range of assets including but not limited to complex investments such as unlisted entities, overseas properties, related party investments and LRBA. Vince has a passion of advancing himself further in the superannuation industry.
