Chris contributes his vision, energy and 20+ years of architecture, interior design, construction, project management, operations, technology, marketing and business development experience to all facets of the business. He also works with clients by taking an active role in various consulting, design and program management activities and co-manages day-to-day business operations with the Chairman/CEO, Gene Lock.
Chris was formerly the Director of Operations and a senior consultant for Secretariat International of Atlanta, GA. His extensive experience includes commercial, retail, hospitality and multi-family design and construction projects, as well as project scheduling and cost consulting on international airports, refineries, power plants, mixed used developments, skyscrapers, roads and interchanges.
Chris has a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture and a minor in computer science from the University of Virginia.
Gene's leadership in the design/build industry has spanned 35+ years. During that time, he has overseen more than 650 facility programs of all types and sizes. His expert project knowledge is as broad as it is deep, with hands-on experience in architecture, programming, estimating, value engineering, project management, construction supervision and administration, quality control, spec writing, scheduling, interior design and warranty service.
Gene holds GC licenses in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, and has a degree in Architectural Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Kent Culverhouse has the rare gift to walk onto a site and visualize your new building with almost perfect clarity. The same holds true for Kent's ability to visualize renovations and remodels with skill and precision. That ability to "see" the building from the inside and out, as if it was already there, is a gift that few possess.
Kent's innate sense of balance, proportion and scale helps him achieve that certain "something" on every building he designs. Kent also had another rare talent - and that is the gift of listening to your needs. As a result, he is particularly skilled in devising floor plans to create environments that support sales, enhance the customer experience, and make the workplace function optimally for employees. Finally, he has amassed a unique knowledge of construction costs over his more than 25+ years of design/build experience, which enables him to design successful solutions that are also within practical budget constraints.
Kent has a diverse background of design experience that includes an array of building types such as offices, retail centers, warehouses, academic buildings, hotels, clubhouses, and multi-family developments in addition to financial facilities. He has designed more than 600 retail, financial, multi-family, restaurants, and professional office facilities, including new construction, renovations, leased space build-outs, modular installations, operation centers and large call centers. Kent is registered to practice architecture in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Kent earned his Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design.

Sharon is often the first person you meet at Eclipse. Prior to entering the construction services market, Sharon owned her own successful retail business. After selling it to a national retail chain, she provided marketing and public relations consulting to public and private clients. Today, after 25+ years in the design/build industry managing relationships representing almost $150M in construction volume, she combines her knowledge of marketing, brand enhancement, site selection, and construction to help you understand your options and chart a path to success. During each step of your Eclipse experience, Sharon is there to be sure that your needs are met and that your expectations are surpassed!
Sharon earned both a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Science degree from the University of Alabama's School of Environmental Sciences. Sharon was also awarded the School of Environmental Sciences' Jack Davis Professional Award in 1995.
