The hobel, a traditional woodworking plane that has been used for centuries by skilled craftsmen to smooth, balance and finish wood surfaces. A skilled craftsman in his own right, winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown has created a smooth and balanced wine which respects the integrity of the fruit and reflects the terroir from which it came.
