MATT AVERY

Matt Avery is principal designer at the University of Chicago Press where he has been working since May of 2003. Matt Avery designs for all media with special expertise in book design and typography... I am an independent designer working in all media and with particular expertise in book design and typography. Before starting Monograph I was Principal Designer at the University of Chicago Press where I worked from May 2003-December 2017. My work has been recognized by the Type Director's Club, Design Museum of Chicago, 50 books/50 covers, Communication Arts Typography Annual, Print, STA, Book Cover Designs, AUP, Chicago Book Clinic, Faceoutbooks, and Gateways.
