Our housing society under the earlier name "The Bangalore MICO Shramajeevi Karmikara Gruha Nirmana Sahakara Sangha Niyamitha" has been in existence since 1972 and was registered under the Karnataka Co-operative Society's act on 28.02.1972 under the Reg. No. JRB:RSR:RGN:15:RCS:690:71-72. The sole intention of the formation of this housing society was to provide residential sites at affordable prices, mainly to the employees of the then "Motor Industries Company Ltd.". After fulfilling the employees'needs, the sites have been allotted to Associate Members (other than employees), also. As on date the society has formed 5 residential layouts at different prime parts of Bangalore and allotted sites to about 1800 members/Associate Members. We are in the process of forming the 6th layout near Bidadi.
