Andrea King

Rev. Dr. Andrea Middleton King is an elder in the Baltimore-Washington Conference, currently serving at Emmanuel UMC in Beltsville, MD. She has a B.A. from the University of South Carolina, M.Ed. from The Citadel, M.Div. and D.Min. from Wesley Theological Seminary. She has pastored local churches and served as hospital, military, and hospice chaplains. Dr. King has also served as a board member of GCUMM, Executive Committee Member of SBC21, Disaster Recovery Manager for BWCUMC, Chairperson of the BWC Black Clergy Women, Associate Director of Ministry with the Poor, Dean of Mission u, NEJ Representative for Black Clergy Women UMC, and the Vice-Coordinator for the NEJBMCR. Her husband Rev. Curtis D. King is also an ordained UMC elder (retired).

Annabel Lusardi

Annabel's experience in the nonprofit world ranges from running a statewide fundraising program for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to running the Christian Education program and developing a discipleship ministry in a local church. She is an International Coach Federation trained coach with an emphasis on coaching in ministry settings. In her spare time Annabel loves to read, bike, walk in the woods and spend time with her husband and three grown children.

Barry Crozier

In 2017 Barry retired after 39 years with Belfint, Lyons, Shuman, Certified Public Accountants, 21 of those years as Managing Director. Barry specialized in assisting clients with litigation support matters, business valuations, individual and corporate tax and management issues, and corporate service matters, as well as facilitating firm retreats for small to mid-sized accounting firms. Barry serves many community organizations, including the Delaware Hospice on the Board of Trustees, and as an Executive Mentor for the University of Delaware and Delaware State. Barry received a BS in Accounting from the University of Delaware and an MS in Taxation from Widener University.

Barry Rose

Barry's career began in the insurance industry, where he developed a passion for employee benefits, leading to an expertise in Pension Plans. He subsequently became a business coach and formed his own company, guiding business owners in growing their businesses, themselves and the bottom line. Barry has BSs in Sociology and Social Sciences from Elizabethtown College. He attends Jarrettown UMC and has served on the conference Board of Pensions for nine years including 4 years as President. He has been refereeing soccer for 48 years.

Clarence White

Clarence serves on MAUMF's Investment Committee. A retired operations manager, he received his BS in industrial engineering from Tennessee Technological University.

Conrad Link

Conrad is a retired UMC clergy with 42 years of pastoral ministry. He has spent most of his career Maryland/West Virginia including serving as a District Superintendent and Cabinet Dean. While a member of the BWC he currently lives in the Pen-Del Conference (Ocean Pines, MD). Talking about resources, both personal and church, have been a part of Conrad's ongoing ministry. Stewardship is everyday. He was charter member of Two Rotary Clubs and served as a board member of the local American Red Cross Board, Frederick Memorial Hospital Community Ethics Committee and various religious and community service ministries. Conrad and his wife, Cathy, love to travel and have 3 sons/daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren.

Dan Hepner

In June 2021 Dan retired from Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. after 28 years where for the last 13 years he served as the Corporate Manager of Field Investigations. Prior to his position with Ameritas, Dan was a field investigator with The Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York. Dan has a BS in Criminology/Criminal Justice from Chester University. Dan started his career as a police officer with theg the City of Charlotte North Carolina Police Department. Dan has also served as a Licensed Local Pastor since 2006, serving Glenmoore United Methodist Church (2006-2008), Hopewell United Methodist (2008-2021) and his currently serving again at Glenmoore United Methodist as Senior Pastor.

Frank C. Robert

Frank loves being able to help the diverse groups of churches, from inner city to suburbia to country churches. Outside of the Foundation, Frank is the Lay Member to the Annual Conference (and former Lay Leader) for St. Paul's UMC Sykesville. He is also the former President of the Sykesville Town Council (voted the "Coolest Small Town in America"). Frank spent 22 years in medical sales after receiving his B.A. and M.ED. from The College of William & Mary, and a M.B.A. in from Loyola College. Frank's wife, Beth, is a Special Needs Elementary Teacher and a handbell ringer at St. Pauls!

Jack Brooks

Jack possesses over 20 years' experience as a registered representative and financial advisor. He lends his expertise to many non-profits in the Philadelphia area, serving as a Board or Chair member with Radnor Studio 21, Taste of Radnor Restaurant Show, Ocean City Rowing and Athletic Association, Ocean City Beach Patrol, Philadelphia Wooden Boat Factory, and Wildcat Masters Swim Association. Jack graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

John Ridgeway

John Ridgeway is a retired executive who served 44 years in Financial Services with Sears Roebuck Credit Operations, Bank of America Visa Operations, and Toyota Financial Services. He is currently the Vice Chairman of Delaware State University's Board of Trustees. Since 2006 John has been an active member of Buttonwood United Methodist Church, New Castle, DE. He has held leadership roles as a member of Burns United Church, Des Moines IA., Dupage A.M.E., Lisle Ill, and Duryea A.M.E. Zion, Schenectady NY. After earning a B.S. in Business Administration in 1975 from Delaware State University, John has received training and development from a variety of courses in Project Management, Six Sigma, Diversity, Kaizen and Leadership Development.

Lawrence Pelham

Employed at E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. for the last 21 years, Lawrence brings broad experience in market and product development, customer service, and team leadership to MAUMF. He is the Lay Leader and Adult Education Ministry Chair at Simpson United Methodist Church, Chair of the Wilmington District Board of Building and Relocation, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Methodist Action Program. He received his M.B.A. from Drexel University and an M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Howard University.

Marsha Johnson

Marsha retired in 2015 after more than 30 years of holding various leadership positions in Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies Inc. She is a member of Simpson UMC in Wilmington, De where she has served in various capacities such as bible study lead, sunday school teacher, Finance and SPPRC chair. She currently serves as a lay servant and the Lay leader. Marsha holds a BA degree in Sociology (Cum Laude) from Princeton University and an MBA from University of Delaware. She is a certified Christian counselor and executive leadership coach. In addition to her work on the Mid Atlantic stewardship committee; she chairs the DE district Urban Center Ministries board, focusing on urban church revitalization and facilitates the Delaware district dMap team.

The CFO/Treasurer of the Baltimore-Washington Conference, Paul serves on MAUMF's Investment and Executive Committees. He joined MAUMF after employment at Verizon Communications, where he was responsible for Fios capital/expense budgets and led several nationally-based reengineering initiatives; 11 years with Corning, Inc.; and seven years of service with the U.S. Navy Submarine Force. He is a member of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church (Frederick, MD) and President of Rebuilding Together of Anne Arundel County. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he also received advanced degrees from Old Dominion University and Johns Hopkins University

Sharon Herrmann

Sharon retired in 2015 as a Sr VP and Sr Portfolio Manager after over 30 years of service with U.S. Trust Company, Bank of America Private Bank. Her experience includes the investment management of a large equity mutual fund, institutional assets and the assets of high-net-worth individuals and officers of Fortune 500 companies. She attended Virginia Wesleyan College and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Sharon attends UMC of West Chester, where she serves on the Finance Committee.

Tammy Bowman

Tammy brings 30 years of financial experience to our board, serving on the Investment Committee and the Executive Committee for the MAUMF. She serves and worships at Cedarville UMC in North Coventry, PA. Currently employed at Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC, Tammy received her B.A in Accounting, Marketing, and Business Adm. from Alvernia College.

Thomas Black - President

Tom serves as President of the Board. He retired as Treasurer of ICI Americas Inc., where he was responsible for pension and 401(k) investing. He then spent 6 years as a pension consultant to large corporations and government entities. He has served on the Board of Goodwill of Delaware and the national United Methodist Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Read Aloud Delaware.

Tracy Brown

Tracy's extensive financial and accounting background includes over 30 years of both non-profit and for-profit experience. She joined the Foundation in 2008 as the Operations Manager overseeing the daily operations of the organization. She graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. Tracy is an avid tennis player who plays competitive USTA tennis year-round in her spare time. She also enjoys running, attending her monthly book club, and spending time with family and friends.

William Westbrook

William has served as the Conference Treasurer in the Peninsula-Delaware Conference for 12 years. He also serves on MAUMF's Personnel and Marketing Committees. Prior to joining the Conference, William spent 14 years in various accounting positions, including controller, at International Reading Associates. He received both his B.S., in Accounting, and his M.B.A. from the University of Delaware.
