NEAL LEGAL NURSE CONSULTANTS - Key Persons

Michelle is the owner and president of Neal Legal Nurse Consultants, LLC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in 2005. Following graduation, Michelle moved to Florida and began her career as an Emergency Department nurse. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in all facets of the ED including triage, observation unit, relief charge nurse (overseeing 34-bed ED) and preceptor for new nurses. In 2014, she became nationally certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant through the Vickie Milazzo Institute. She has run a successful legal nurse consulting business since 2014. Michelle has produced over 150 case reports involving medical malpractice, personal injury, nursing home negligence and assisted living abuse. She is highly proficient in identifying the relevant standards of care in medical malpractice cases. Her expert experience in clinical and legal nursing allows her to prioritize efficiently and effectively in order to accurately assess causation and damages. She has extensive experience in a variety of legal cases involving fall injury, motor vehicle accidents, pressure ulcer development/deterioration, sepsis, hospital-acquired infections, post-operative infections, misdiagnosis, delayed medical treatment, medical fraud and wrongful death. In 2017, Michelle became a mentor for the Vickie Milazzo Institute for Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association and National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.
