It all started in 1965 when Oamaru Shingle Supplies Limited purchased a quarry owned by Oamaru Ready-Mix, Peter Rae Industries and Fulton Hogan. After extracting high quality greywacke from the alluvial gravel deposits located on the Waitaki River plains the operation processed the river-run material into various aggregate types (base-course, crusher dust, roading chip etc... We take pride in our roading aggregates and are proud to be supplying high quality materials to the roading industry throughout Waitaki and Otago...
