Incorporated in 2011, Pro-Fin Engineering Inc. is a Vancouver (BC, Canada) based engineering firm. ProFinLD™ leak detection technique is a next generation of technology we have developed (patented in 2019) to solve the two key technical problems and application issues of RTTM (Real Time Transient Model) techniques/systems. As the results: 1) Its leak strength threshold is very small, close to zero; 2) It is able to detect existing leaks; 3) it can be applied to any existing pipeline as long as there are sensors at ends. In plain words, for bigger leaks that can be detected by both techniques, using our ProFinLD™ leak detection technique will provides very much earlier leak warnings; for most small leaks and/or existing leaks that RTTM systems will miss or have missed, using our ProFinLD™ leak detection technique will catch them; and for most existing pipelines that a RTTM system is not applicable, our ProFinLD™ leak detection technique can be applied...
