Mr Richard Yap founded Quantum Performance Consulting in 1994 and has been the firm's Principal Consultant for corporate and business advisory services since incorporation. He is also currently an audit principal with KK Yap & Associates, public accountants and certified public accountants in Singapore.
Richard has over 23 years external auditing experience and internal auditing experience with KPMG Peat Marwick and Banque Nationale De Paris respectively. During his stay in KPMG, Richard had rendered auditing and assurance services to several large banks and financial institutions and multi-national companies and had experience in special investigations and due diligence for acquisition and mergers, business valuation and preparing companies for listing on stock exchange. Richard was the Regional Chief Internal Auditor for Singapore and ASEAN countries during his tenure with Banque Nationale De Paris.
For the past 16 years, Richard has been in corporate consulting and business advisory experience with Quantum Performance Consulting as the Principal Consultant. He is instrumental in advising business owners and management on successful business start-ups; achieving optimal capital structure; prompt and efficient incorporation, secretarial and regulatory compliance; effective taxation planning and advisory; cost effective investigations and due diligence in acquisition and mergers; fair and professional approach to valuation of businesses; fast one-stop turnkey implementation of computerised network accounting systems, timely recruitment of personnel for key accounting positions and comprehensive diagnostic review of financial statements and core business for higher profits and asset growth.
Mr Tay Kay Han is one of the Principal Consultants of QPC and is also an appointed Export Coach of IE Singapore, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry spearheading the development of Singapore's external economy.
Kay Han has a proven track record for assisting small and medium enterprises ("SMEs") close deals with multinational companies such as Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Azus, Softbank amongst others. His scope of expertise is in facilitation of business development, strategic market entry and corporate restructuring to SMEs.
Kay Han is resourceful and informative and has very strong connections with both Asian and European companies. His market expertise is in Japan, Taiwan, China and South Korea in the ICT applications, education, media & publications, fashion and healthcare products but has been recently working with European companies on their expansion plans into Asia.
Kay Han is a graduate of Doshisha University with a BA in Psychology and a MBA from the University of Singapore. He is also a certified Practising Management Consultant. He also speaks and reads English, Mandarin and Japanese fluently.
