Evans Sikinyi holds a Ph. D, Horticulture from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, U.S.A., a MSc. Plant Breeding, University of Nairobi and a BSc. Agriculture from the University of Nairobi. He is a Board Member of the National Biosefety Authority (NBA) in Kenya, a Member of the Intellectual Property Committee (IPC) of the International Seed Federation (ISF), a member of the WEMA product deployment team, AATF and also a Member of the Technical Working Group for Agribusiness & Financial Services under the Agricultural Sector Coordinating Unit.

Mr. Otswong'o is the Technical Director of Random Forks IP. He is a qualified Patent Examiner in Biomedical Sciences at KIPI since 2000 and registered Intellectual Property Agent with KIPI. He holds a Master's of Science Degree from the University of Delhi, India and Bachelors' of Science Degree in Biochemistry, University of Poona, India. In addition, Fredrick holds a series of Advanced Certificates in Intellectual Property Law from WIPO WW Academy, Geneva, Switzerland. Fred is the founding Intellectual Property Technical Director and Lead Consultant of Random Forks Intellectual Property Group Ltd (RFIP) since 2013, a position he took up after serving as a patent examiner in the fields of biotechnology, natural & biomedical sciences at the Kenya Industrial Property Institute (KIPI) from 2000 during which he examined more than 300 patent applications. Currently, Fred is a registered Intellectual Property Agent and Patent Attorney with KIPI authorized to practice industrial property rights in Kenya. So far, Fred has assisted more than 80 inventors to draft and file patent application locally, regionally and internationally. Fred holds a Masters' of Science Degree and a Bachelors' of Science Degree in Biochemistry. In addition, Fred has several Intellectual Property Law Advanced Certificates in patents, patent claim drafting & searches, trademark and industrial design registration, E-Commerce, IP Management, copyright and plant breeders' rights from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Worldwide Academy, Geneva, Switzerland. He has also attended and acquired a Certificate in Senior Management Course from the Kenya School of Management and attended training workshops and seminars held at Swedish Agricultural University, Michigan State University and USPTO in USA, Wageningen University and Research in The Netherlands, Oxford University in UK and OHIM in Spain.
