Don Schumacher III - VP

Mr. Schumacher has experience in Business Intelligence, ERP consulting and implementation, and software startups. He joined Schumacher Capital in November of 2016 and focuses on sourcing new deals and the strategy of select portfolio companies. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, his MSC from Northwestern University, and his BA from the University of Southern California.

Donald F. Schumacher II - Chairman

Mr. Schumacher acquired his first business, Republic Structural Steel, in 1979 at the age of 29. His investment of $50,000 returned $2,000,000 in 18 months. He has been a principal in over 20 companies, with a focus on value investments in branded food products, consumer products, niche retail, niche distribution, medical products and industrial brands. The aggregate sales volume of the companies is in excess of $1 billion. Investments have included Danskin, Dance France, Marika, Pennaco Hosiery, Ray's Brands, Kelly Food Products, Seiferts Retail Holding, Pinstripes, St..Clair Leasing, Republic Structural Steel, The Elgin Corporation, Gordon Food Products, Esmark, Inc., Heritage Holdco, and Virginia T's. Prior transactional experience includes Heller International and First Chicago Corporation. Mr. Schumacher completed 48 transactions at Heller in four and a half years, including Little Tykes, Mr. Coffee, Humphrey Leather Goods. Airstream, and Morgan Yachts. During his two years at First Chicago Corporation, Mr. Schumacher managed a national team of senior bankers completing over 100 transactions in a broad array of industries. He is a former director of Easter Seals and currently is on The President's Council. He is a former member of Young Presidents' Organization and currently in World Presidents' Organization. Mr. Schumacher graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in management and has Series 7 and Series 63 certifications.

Ford Schumacher

Mr. Schumacher began his career as a Business Analyst with McKinsey & Company in their San Francisco office. During his tenure at McKinsey, he primarily served private equity firms and large corporate clients on strategic issues and acquisitions. He joined Schumacher Capital in May of 2012 and has spent his time integrating Heritage Holdco and Virginia T's and pursuing new investment opportunities. Mr. Schumacher graduated from Georgetown University magna cum laude with a double major in Mathematics and Economics. He spent his junior year at the London School of Economics. Mr. Schumacher is pursuing an MBA at Harvard Business School.

Patrick Disney

A seasoned executive, Mr. Disney began his career at Arthur Andersen, rising to the rank of partner during his distinguished 23 year tenure. After leaving Arthur Andersen, he advised companies across an array of industries in issues of management, finance, and transactions. Since 2000, Mr. Disney has been working with SCC on transactions, as well as providing advice to portfolio companies. Currently, he serves as the CFO of Heritage Holdco. Mr. Disney has a BS in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and holds a CPA.
