South Dakota Interior Designers (SDID) is a non-profit organization created to support the local design community. Founded in 1992, SDID has been the premier Interior Designer organization within South Dakota for 30 years. Supporting professionalism, continuing education, and networking; SDID strives to improve and elevate the profession... SDID provides continuing education, networking opportunities, project support, and community involvement for its members... In the year 1999, South Dakota Interior Designers created an award to be presented to an outstanding individual who puts forth extra time and effort in making SDID and its activities successful. Nominated by her colleagues, Laura Hosman was the first recipient of this award.
