This educational partnership began in 1989 when after a summer spent on fellowship to the Dartmouth CLIPP (Computer Learning and Information Processing Program) for teachers, two teachers returned to Cincinnati and began to in-service faculty peers on how to use computers in a one computer classroom. Gary (Snoo) was a longtime collector of Snoopy artifacts and, in fact, had posters that were older than the parents of his junior school students. Marilyn (Bear) stated she would never collect anything and promptly began to accumulate Boyd's Bears. In January of 1989 they presented, with the help of the Apple Inc. regional manager, a workshop for teachers at the Cincinnati Staff Development Conference - How to use one computer with 35 students - and so it began.
