Jason Mattison has been with Shur-Co® since 1998 and has been the Illinois branch manager since 2006. Jason and his staff take pride in their work and value the customers' satisfaction. They look forward to assisting with all your future tarping needs and hope to become your tarp solutions service-and-distribution center.
Jason Mattison has been with Shur-Co® since October of 1998. He initially worked in the installation bays but eventually moved on to helping in every other area of the shop, including sewing when needed. When the opportunity to become the shop supervisor arose, he took on the challenges associated with the position. Ultimately, he was promoted to branch manager in 2006.
Jason feels his "team player" approach is what makes the Illinois branch such an efficient operation. He says he brings to the table a willingless to listen and work with everyone to solve any problems. He also thinks that his years of shop experience have given him practical insight into his employees' responsibilities and concerns.
Jason has extended family in the Illinois/Indiana area that includes his brother, grandparents and various aunts, uncles and cousins. His father and stepmother reside in Ocala, Florida and he makes a point of visiting them a few times each year.
He really enjoys being around his employees and helping his customers "so they understand our products as much as possible."

Shur-Co® of Idaho became part of the Shur-Co® family in April 2019 following the acquisition of Ruff N Tuff Tarps. As part of the acquisition, previous Ruff N Tuff Owner Kurt Shanley has become the Shur-Co® of Idaho branch manager and led the efforts on our recent expansion. With over 30 combined years of being a part of the Caldwell community, we're looking forward to expanding service, sales and distribution support for the Northwest and West Coast.
Branch manager Kurt Shanley states, "When Shur-Co® approached me in 2018 about become a part of their business, they talked about expansion and the opportunity for growth that our Cladwell location could provide. It is very rewarding to see this come to life as it is something I have wanted to do for a long time. We are very excited about our new facility and the opportunities that it will present for us!"

Trevor Hinsz has been with Shur-Co® for 16 years, and he brings plenty of practical, hands-on experience to the manager's position, having started as an installation-and-repair specialist. He grew up on the Iron Range north of Duluth, MN, a small mining area. That background helps explain why one of his favorite things is working with his customers to design ideas "outside the box."
