Our mission is to promote life safety and reduce human suffering to the citizens and visitors of the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District. To achieve this goal through public education and fire prevention programs. We shall seek to minimize the results of fire, medical or rescue emergencies and disasters in this District. The Training Division has purchased a 20' trailer to create a portable training vehicle. It will be equipped with various live fire props, firefighting tools and equipment that will be utilized throughout the fire district and beyond to provide outstanding firefighter training in the field.
