Swanson Engineering was established in 2009 and was incorporated in 2012 as Swanson Engineering, Inc. Bob Swanson (RCE -43032) graduated from U.C. Davis in 1975 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He started his career in the oil industry working for Union Oil, and soon after went into the construction industry building single family homes in 1977. In 1984, Bob went to work for a civil engineering firm in Bakersfield. He quickly took over the role as manager of special projects, working on commercial, industrial, agricultural, and educational facilities. In 2009, Bob and his son Justin left their former employer to start Swanson Engineering where they felt they could better serve their client's needs... Swanson Engineering, Inc.
