Sanjay Bhardwaj is a Partner at team3, an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice that aspires to create human-centric and contextual architectural expressions. The work of the practice draws on contemporary influences while responding to local climatic, historical and social settings. Founded in 2012 in New Delhi by the three partners Sanjay Bhardwaj, Shubhra Dahiya, and Vijay Dahiya, team3 specialises in creating holistic projects across diverse scales.
With over 30 years of prior experience in the field, Sanjay brings an expertise in delivering complex projects at the scale of urban planning, mixed-use developments, and housing. His forte lies in balancing sustainability and financial viability to create context-responsive designs. His work has been the recipient of numerous reputed awards, including an accolade from the Indian Institute of Architects for Excellence in Architecture, commendations from the Indian Institute of Interior Design, two CNBC Real Estate Awards, an Archi Design Award, a Real Estate Conclave Award from the Economic Times among many others. Team3's work has also been featured in several leading publications and journals such as Architecture+Design, Architect and Interiors India, ET Hospitality, Perspective Global, Hindustan Times and more.
A graduate from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, Sanjay is also a certified GRIHA trainer and evaluator. As Director at Morphogenesis, New Delhi, Sanjay worked on and guided several award-winning projects of various scales to completion before founding team3.
Sanjay is also actively involved in the academic community, teaching at various colleges throughout India.
Shubhra Dahiya is a Partner at team3, an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice that aspires to create human-centric and contextual architectural expressions. Founded in 2012 in New Delhi by the three partners Sanjay Bhardwaj, Shubhra Dahiya, and Vijay Dahiya, team3 specialises in creating holistic projects across diverse scales.
A graduate from DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur, Shubhra brings to team3 over 18 years of experience from reputed firms like Morphogenesis, New Delhi. She has worked on the design and execution of a diverse range of projects from mixed-use, to residential, commercial and hospitality. With a focus on architectural and interior design projects, Shubhra's unique skill set lies in translating client briefs and requirements into projects that positively influence its users and context.
Her work has received multiple awards, including commendations from the Indian Institute of Interior Designers, a CNBC Real Estate Award, and an International Architecture Award. She and her work have been featured extensively in publications like the Hindustan Times, Architecture + Design, Interiors and Decor and others.
Vijay Dahiya is a Partner at team3, an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice that aspires to create human-centric and contextual architectural expressions. The work of the practice draws on contemporary influences while responding to local climatic, historical and social settings. Founded in 2012 in New Delhi by the three partners Sanjay Bhardwaj, Shubhra Dahiya, and Vijay Dahiya, team3 specialises in creating holistic projects across diverse scales.
Dahiya brings over 20 years of prior experience to team3, having worked on projects of varying scales, from large mixed-use developments to architectural and interior projects. He believes that beyond styles and trends, design needs to be built for longevity. His projects range from large scale commercial developments, to hospitality, residential and interior projects.
Having completed his education at DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur, Dahiya has been responsible for the design and execution of multiple projects as Director at Morphogenesis, New Delhi, before founding team3. He is also a certified GRIHA trainor.
His work has received widespread recognition, including commendations from the Indian Institute of Interior Designers, the International Architecture Awards, CNBC Real Estate Awards, and AIT Germany, among others. He and his work have also been published in leading magazines and journals, including Financial Express, Perspective Global, Architect and Interiors India, Hotelier India, and Blueprint Asia, among others. Vijay is actively engaged as a speaker at many conferences and juries and is often found at design panels across the country.
