Annabel Campbell

Annabel qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and joined the commercial property team at Borneo Martell Turner Coulston in June 2023. She deals with various commercial property matters, including sales and purchases, leases, commercial mortgages and Guarantor advice. Annabel completed her Law LLB Degree at the University of Northampton in 2012 and, after a number of years' experience in residential property, commenced the Legal Practice Course at De Montfort University whilst working full time at another local firm. Annabel prides herself in providing an excellent standard of client care. Outside of work, Annabel is kept occupied by her young daughter. She also enjoys cooking, walking her dog and spending time with friends and family.

Carly Arthur

Carly qualified as a solicitor in 2004 having completed her training contract at highly regarded commercial firm, Allen & Overy. Having also worked at Legal 500 firm, Charles Russell LLP and as an author for Lexis Nexis PSL (online law library and publishers of legal precedents) she joined local firm Scott Fowler in 2015 before becoming part of the commercial property team at Borneo Martell Turner Coulston in 2020. She specialises in complex and high value property acquisitions and disposals, property finance and landlord and tenant matters. Carly has strong technical ability demonstrates a commercial and proactive approach on matters. She prides herself on providing the best possible advice and support. Outside work, Carly has a passion for travelling and was lucky enough to live in Central America for a year.

Carly Mitchell

Carly joined Borneo Martell Turner Coulston Solicitors as a Paralegal in May 2017. She works in the Family Department and in particular assists the Children Team. Carly works alongside the solicitors in the Department, helping clients who are involved with Social Services both before and during Court proceedings. Carly has also recently started to gain experience in Private Law children matters as well as assisting victims of Domestic Abuse. Carly is currently undertaking her Law degree at BPP Law School and once completed, she hopes to secure a Training Contract with the firm so that she can qualify as a solicitor. Prior to joining Borneo Martell Turner Coulston and working at another firm, Carly worked as a Court Clerk where she gained knowledge of Family Law. It was during that time that Carly decided to pursue a career in this field. Carly has a 2:1 degree in Psychology with Criminology which she obtained from the University of Northampton in 2013. Carly prides herself on being extremely organised, sensitive to clients' needs and being a quick and enthusiastic learner. In her spare time, when she is not studying, Carly enjoys attending music events, visiting new places and spending time with her family and friends.

Carol Behan

Carol joined the firm in 1988 as a legal secretary. She then became a Conveyancing Assistant until 2003, when she took over the role as Conveyancer based in our Kettering Office. Carol deals with residential conveyancing, both in the local area and further afield. Carol enjoys swimming, going to the theatre and spending time with friends and family. She is also very much involved in the Royal Anglian Regiment Association Finedon Branch, of which she is head of the Entertainments Committee.

Clare de Banke - CEO

Job Titles:

Clare qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and initially specialised in Private Client and Employment work. She became Managing Partner of Turner Coulston in 2007 when the Firm was expanding the business and building the extension to its Northampton office. She then had a leading role in the merger between Turner Coulston and Borneo Hughes Martell in December 2012. This involved the legal merger of the two firms as well as directing the physical relocation of personnel, the rebranding, marketing and IT and telecommunications projects. Clare continued as Managing Partner following that merger and the firm has continued to expand; notably in 2020 when following the closure of another local firm, Borneo Martell Turner Coulston were joined by its staff. More recently, she oversaw the planning and move from the firm's existing offices in Kettering to new premises. which provide modern and easily accessible space for staff and clients. This has been complemented by the investment in new technology and work practises that has taken place since the start of the pandemic which has enable Clare and the team to improve efficiency and to continue to offer the full range of legal services despite the challenges presented by Covid-19. Clare continues to oversee compliance in the Firm and dealing with regulatory matters, strategy, marketing and recruitment and works closely with the finance and administration team to ensure the smooth day-today running of the offices. Clare has maintained an interest in private client work and over the years she has been the driving force behind the Firm's efforts to obtain and retain Law Society accreditation under the Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme. One of Clare's focusses across the Firm has been on providing an excellent standard of client care so that clients receive a friendly and professional service. Outside work, Clare reads, bakes, going to the theatre, socialising with friends and spending time with family.

Connor Williams

Connor has spent all his career in the legal profession - he has dealt with a very wide range of matters and can advise on all aspects of relationship breakdown and family law including cohabitation, separation, divorce, finances, private Children Act issues, TOLATA and dependent issues. His work also includes arrangements for planning marriages and cohabitation. Connor also has experience in dealing with county court claims involving contract, tort issues and landlord/tenant for both claimants and defendants in the County and Senior Courts. Away from the office he says that he enjoys nothing better than spending time with his family, listening to music, going to the cinema, football and travelling whenever that is possible.

Danielle Parles

Danielle has worked in residential conveyancing for over 10 years and specialises in new build purchases predominantly in the London and Birmingham areas. She often assists investor clients based both in the UK and further afield, as well as clients looking to purchase as owner/occupiers. I also deal with freehold and leasehold residential sales, as well as Plot Contract assignment sales. Danielle is well versed with the Help to Buy Scheme and as many of her clients are first time buyers, she can identify and assist with common queries and concerns which arise and explain the process in a clear manner. In her free time Danielle enjoys walking her dog and is learning British Sign Language. She has a love of American muscle cars and often goes to the Santa Pod Raceway.

Diana Rose

Head of Family, Diana Rose is an established family law specialist with 26 years' experience in dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown and relationship formation. Diana's approach is both sensitive and robust. She provides straightforward and common sense advice in order to ensure that her client's best interests are protected and matters are dealt with in a constructive way. Relationship breakdown is a very personal and emotional process. Diana ensures that the issues are identified as soon as possible so that the advice given is appropriate to the client's specific needs. The best practical solution can then be achieved in order to avoid delay and unnecessary costs. Diana is a trained mediator and a member of Resolution First for Family Law. Diana's interests include walking, snow skiing, playing bridge, cooking and entertaining.

Ella King

Ella deals with regional and national freehold and leasehold sales, freehold purchases, re-mortgages, and transfer of equity transactions. Having gained valuable experience since entering the Conveyancing world, Ella is keen to work towards becoming a Licensed Conveyancer. Jaime Cole

Jaime joined the firm in October 2022 as an assistant in the Residential Conveyancing Department in Northampton. Jaime completed her law degree in 2021 and enjoyed travelling in East Asia before returning to commence her legal career. Outside work Jaime enjoys reading and socialising with friends.

Jesse Bailey

Jesse joined the firm of Turner Coulston in 2008 as an Accounts Assistant. Jesse quickly became familiar with the accounts processes and procedures that are specific to law firms despite not having worked in a law firm before. His role then widened, and he has used his IT skills to take on day-to-day responsibility for IT. He has changed the ordering processes and budgeting for office consumables, dealt with office moves and coordinated remedial works to the office facilities. In 2018, Jesse embarked on an AAT distance learning course to become a qualified accountant. He was also promoted to Accounts Manager and takes responsibility for the day-to-day running of the accounts department assisted by an Accounts Assistant and Credit Controller. Jesse works closely with the Managing Partner, Clare de Banke.

Jessica Masters

Jessica started her legal career at Scott Fowler, solicitors in Northampton as a trainee solicitor before joining Borneo Martell Turner Coulston in May 2020 where she completed her training; undertaking seats in property, litigation and wills and probate. She successfully completed her training and qualified as a solicitor on 1st April 2022 and joined the commercial property team at the Northampton office. Commercial property has been Jessica's main interest throughout her training and she has experience in dealing with a range of matters including acquisitions and disposals of freehold or leasehold property, conditional contracts and property finance transactions. Jessica considers that her main strengths as a lawyer are her attention to detail and her focus on providing excellent client care. In her spare time Jessica enjoys travelling, going to the gym and baking.

Joanne Martin

Joanne joined the firm in 2006 whilst finishing her studying, and qualified later that year as a Licensed Conveyancer. Joanne is based in our Northampton office in the Residential Conveyancing Department, dealing with a wide range of conveyancing transactions including sale and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, Lifetime Mortgages, Lease Extensions and Transfer of Equity. With over 25 years' experience in the conveyancing sector, she prides herself on excellent client care and service. Joanne became a partner in 2023 and as part of her new role within the Company will be responsible for developing IT processes and procedures. In Joanne's spare time she enjoys spa days, walking her English Bulldog and socialising with friends.

Jordan Harrison

Jordan has worked in Conveyancing since 2016 and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in January 2023. Kathryn Frisby

Kathryn trained with Turner Coulston, and qualified as a solicitor in 2004 before becoming a Partner in January 2016. She specialises in residential conveyancing and has particular interest in complex and high value conveyancing transactions. Kathryn has been the Firm's Head of Conveyancing since late 2015 and manages the residential conveyancing department based across the firm's two offices; Northampton and Kettering. Before settling into her specialist area, Kathryn was able to work in a number of different areas in the firm including private client and litigation. This has provided her with the experience and knowledge to be able to identify the wider issues that may affect her clients and advise them accordingly. She routinely advises and assists with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties, lease extensions, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. She is known for being a friendly and practical lawyer who is keen to progress transactions smoothly for her clients. Kathryn didn't always have her heart set on a career in the law… until she was 13, her aspirations were to become a Dolphin Trainer following a trip to Sea World, Florida when she was 8! Outside work, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her family and friends and enjoys ballet.

Kim Miles

Kim worked in the social housing department of a London firm for 10 years before joining our residential conveyancing team in Kettering in April 2016 working with Carol Behan. She enjoys her job and gets satisfaction from getting clients moved and hopes she helps to make their transactions as smooth and as stress free as possible. Outside work, Kim enjoys mountain biking, kayaking and walking the family dog.

Lisa Fox

Michael Osborne

He is a Full Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global body consisting of professionals that help families plan their futures. He is also a Full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), and the Law Society's Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS).

Mohammed Rahman

Mohammed qualified as a solicitor in 2007. He joined the firm in 2019, bringing with him a wealth of experience in property law, having previously worked for local authorities as well as in private practice. Although Mohammed is able to advise and assist on a range of property matters, he has particular interest in commercial transactions. He has strong local connections and coming from a family business background, he is also familiar with the issues that SMEs face with commercial premises. He prides himself on providing excellent client care and he is routinely instructed in relation to sales and purchases, leasehold transactions for both landlords and tenants, assignments of leases, business sales and purchases, commercial re-mortgages and advising Guarantors. Mohammed became a Partner at the firm in July 2023. Pauline Lindo

Pauline qualified as solicitor in 2002. She joined the Firm's family and became a partner in July 2008. Pauline qualified as solicitor in 2002. She joined the Firm's family department in 2004 and became a partner in July 2008. She is a member of Resolution, working towards amicable solutions in all aspects of family problems. Pauline's main areas of work are: • Financial and property issues arising from divorce or separation • Applications in respect of children for residence and/or contact and other issues including securing guardianship for grandparents or other interested persons • Domestic violence and injunctions • Care Proceedings, particularly acting for parents or grandparents from whom a child is likely to be removed or is being removed • Divorce proceedings She also has experience in acting for the Official Solicitor who is usually appointed to assist someone who lacks mental capacity to manage their own affairs. She is a former Trustee for the local Citizens Advice Bureau and maintains a keen interest in the organisation and the assistance it provides to the public. Most of Pauline's clients are via referral from existing or previous clients who express their trust and confidence in her ability and who recommend Pauline to friends of theirs, who require assistance. Pauline enjoys complex and challenging cases and manages her cases on behalf of her clients, with great warmth and empathy. In her spare time Pauline enjoys music, particularly live gigs, theatre, watching tennis and athletics and spending quality time with her daughter. Rosie Richardson

Sarah Halford

When she is not at work, Sarah enjoys baking and has a competitive streak - enjoying pub quizzes whenever she can!

Shannon Carpenter

Sharon Hundal

Sharon qualified as a solicitor in 2005 and became a Partner of Borneo Hughes Martell in 2010. Since qualifying, Sharon has always dealt with a varied litigation caseload. This has allowed her to gain and develop her knowledge in a range of disciplines. She continues to enjoy dealing with a variety of litigation matters including contractual disputes, commercial/private landlord and tenant issues and employment matters including compromise agreements. Outside work, Sharon enjoys running and spending time with friends and family.

Susan Owens

Sue qualified as a solicitor in 1998 having joined Turner Coulston in 1996 as an Articled Clerk. She has been based at the firm's Kettering office for many years and now manages the firm's new office in Brooklands Court following its move in February 2022. Sue became the firm's Senior Partner in July 2020. She is also the Head of the Wills and Probate Department; an area which the firm has expanded over the last 3 years or so. Sue is able to advise clients on all aspects of planning for their future; wills, trusts and powers of attorney. She also assists with the Administration of Estates and Court of Protection matters. She is a member of the Solicitors for the Elderly group, having undertaken specialist training and e-assessments - obtaining the SFE Older Client Care in Practice Award. This award recognises that in her work with older and vulnerable clients, Sue complies with the SFE Code of Practice. In addition to undertaking fee earning work, Sue supports a number of charitable Will schemes and is invited to speak at seminars regarding Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Many years ago she started what has become a longstanding association of the firm with Will Aid. Every November the Firm donates its time and expertise so that people can make Wills without paying the legal costs associated with doing so. The aim of the Will Aid scheme is to encourage people to donate a sum to the Will Aid charities instead of paying legal fees. The firm's participation with the Scheme is very successful and we help to raise thousand of pounds annually. In her spare time Sue enjoys skiing holidays with her family or holidaying in sunnier climes.

Tim Vaughan

Tim specialises in commercial litigation and employment law. He qualified as a solicitor in 1975 after gaining his Honours degree in law from London University and his early practice years were in Bedford, where he quickly established a reputation for advocacy. In 2001 Tim was awarded the status of Solicitor-Advocate of the Higher Courts (civil). Tim is a consultant with the firm, and has previously been a partner with solicitors firms in both Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, where he headed up Commercial Litigation Departments. Tim has a wealth of experience including complex disputes. His practice covers all elements of commercial civil dispute resolution and a number of other areas of law such as regulatory issues and Licensing. He acts for a number of local and national companies on a range of matters. He enjoys most sports and has a keen interest in scuba diving.

Tom Bodkin

Tom is a Solicitor in our Commercial & Litigation Department based in the Northampton office He started his career as a Trainee Solicitor with Scott Fowler, joined Borneo Martell Turner Coulston in May 2020 and became at Partner at the firm in July 2023. Tom provides advice on a broad range of litigious and corporate matters and his practice covers all elements; commercial, civil litigation and corporate transactions. Tom considers that his strengths as a lawyer are giving straightforward and transparent advice to clients whilst also having a huge energy for getting the root of a problem and resolving it in the most efficient and cost effective way. Outside of work Tom enjoys socialising with friends.
