Candice thrives on building lasting partnerships with clients and colleagues, while injecting a bit of fun and enthusiasm along the way. Born and raised in Canada, she can often be found travelling the world or adventuring in the Surrey Hills with her husband and her dog.

Emily Coppen

Job Titles:

Emily has seven years of experience in healthcare comms across multiple disease areas, including multiple sclerosis, rare paediatric diseases, diabetes, HIV and epilepsy. Emily is all about people and committed to putting people first - whether that's her team or patients. Emily is an enthusiastic and creative change driver and is motivated by making a difference in patients' lives, raising others up, and being her team's ultimate cheerleader. Outside of work, you can find Emily running, attempting different crafting projects and frequenting London's excellent food and drink establishments.

Georgina Tack

Georgina started working in finance whilst training at the Oxford School of Drama in 2019. Balancing both acting and finance for the past 4 years, Georgina joined the team at Clark Health part time in 2023. She is new to the world of health communications with her finance background being within technology and the education sector. Outside of finance, Georgina can be found working as a professional actress, reading, keeping creative and getting outside with her dog.

Jeremy Clark - Chairman

Jez, the founder and Chairman of Clark Health Communications, has worked in specialist healthcare communications agencies for over 25 years, leading award winning teams for a wide variety of clients and across a broad spectrum of projects. He is passionate about the role of communication in health and medicine. He enjoys music, growing vegetables and avoiding DIY.

Jessica Shepherd

Jessica has over ten years' experience in healthcare communications, in both specialist agencies and in-house roles. She is passionate about developing strong collaborative working relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues, to create positive change for patients. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys getting outside, whether it's to explore a new city, skiing or hiking in the mountains, or going for a run.

Kirsty Somerscales

Kirsty started her career in healthcare communications in 2016 and has since worked across Global, European, Asia Pacific and UK projects in a range of therapeutic areas. She is passionate about collaboration, inclusivity and creativity and creating valuable programmes that make a difference. Kirsty usually spends her weekends on the golf course or on a hockey pitch, no matter what the British weather brings!

Nadine Powell - CFO

Nadine is a chartered accountant with over eight years' financial experience. Relatively new to the world of healthcare communications, her background is in retail and eCommerce. When she is not dreaming up her next excel spreadsheet, Nadine can be found knitting or practising Dutch which she speaks with an enthusiasm that is not currently matched by her level of fluency.

Polly Beaumont

Polly works on a variety of accounts, delivering internal and external communication campaigns for pharmaceutical companies. Polly is motivated by creating positive change in healthcare through helping clients to prioritise the patient in all projects. Outside of work, Polly is a keen musical theatre fan, and spends most of her time rehearsing with her amateur dramatics' society.

Si n Hurst - Managing Director

Si n is an energising leader with over 25 years' experience in healthcare communications. She works with clients to provide strategic guidance and creative thinking that stretches their ambitions and delivers results. She sparks ideas and enthusiasm in her team that makes working hard together rewarding and fun. Si n loves facilitating events and pitching, and is well known for her ability to conjure up a killer insight and campaign strategy. Outside of work, she can be found walking her border collie Maggie.

Youcef Zait

Youcef marks the newest addition to the growing CHC team. After earning his Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from UEA (University of East Anglia) in 2022, he spent a year immersed in property renovations for private clients. Following a career focus refresh, Youcef is now merging his passion for science and business at CHC and is excited to contribute to impactful communications in the healthcare industry. Outside of the office, Youcef can be found working out in the gym, playing football or trying (unsuccessfully so far) to teach his cat some new tricks.

Zoe Maudsley

Since joining the CHC team and starting her healthcare communications career in 2022, Zoe has worked on a number of internal and external communication campaigns which span multiple disease areas. Zoe is passionate about making science accessible to everyone and is motivated by projects that help make real change in healthcare for real people. Outside of work, you can find Zoe looking after her many pets (x1 dog/x3 cats/ x4 guinea pigs) or counting down the days until Christmas!
