Hawkspring is a community rooted organisation based in Hartcliffe, South Bristol, an area that is within the worst 1% of deprivation in England and Wales... We are a trusted organisation - our team are approachable and we don't judge the people who walk through our door. We look to build rapport and to quickly assess what our individual clients needs are. All of our clients will be treated with respect and we understand the vital importance of confidentiality in the work we do... Clients come to us from a number of referring organisations, such as other charities, other local services e.g. GP practices, schools or social services. But equally we get as many clients come to us by self-referral, simply by calling our office or walking through our door. It takes many clients a long time to do that and they may have been struggling alone for years. We understand that they are facing a crisis point. We are always encouraging and supportive.
