I joined Fooks & Co in 1998 as Payroll Manager. My role covers responsibility for the running of the Payroll Department in the firm, where we offer a full Payroll Preparation Service for our clients, including production of Payslips, management of Payments to HMRC, production of End of Year Returns and dealing with correspondence and enquiries from HMRC.
Having completed an Honours Degree in finance and accounting I took up a position in 1979 as an Articled Clerk with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in South Wales. After 6 years service I moved twice more between 1985 and 1990 to other major firms leading to a position managing a branch office of one of the largest independent firms in Wales.

I joined Fooks and Co in 2010 as manager of the then Santander Agency, which had started life as an agency for the Bradford and Bingly Building Society Agency which had been existence since the mid 1970s.
I joined Fooks and Co aged 17 in 1993 and apart from a 6 month period I have remained here ever since.
I am the General Manager responsible for a designated portfolio of Clients as well as assisting in training of junior staff, office administration and deputising for Partners.
I joined Fooks in 1974 and now look after a portfolio of clients and specialise in Licensed Trade clients and Licensed Trade stocktaking.
Following 29 years 210 days working in H M Revenue I escaped and joined Fooks and Co in 1997.
My responsibilities include all aspects of personal and corporate taxation for our clients, including compliance work and advanced tax planning to ensure that clients pay the tax that is legally required and no more.
I joined Fooks and Co in 2006 as manager of the the then Bradford and Bingly Building Society Agency which had been existence since 2001, moving from the Queen Street, Cardiff Branch of the B&B. I remained in position through the takeover of B&B by Santander and since January 2013 we took on a new agency with Monmouth Building Society.
