The Architects brief was to design a building that merged well with the existing built environment of "Seaside Hotels" by replicating in modern materials the existing Victorian facades of the buildings on either side. Internal works however were to be fully modern with lifts access to all floors, Entry phones and fully compliant Fire precautions. This appears to have been more or less achieved.
