Alex joined Absolute Value in February 2023 whilst completing his second year of his Bachelor of Property and Commerce degree majoring in Finance at the University of Auckland. Alex works predominantly in the South/East Auckland market and by combining knowledge gained from experience and University, he has quickly learnt about valuing many property types. In his spare time, you will find Alex surfing, running, at the gym, or doing something outside.
Courtney joined Absolute Value in May 2018 and has since partaken in a range of activities within the business. Originally joining the team on a part-time database role, Courtney has since completed her Bachelor of Property at the University of Auckland, and now works as a full time valuer. After graduating Courtney has gained knowledge and skills in a wide range of property types and now focuses on the North Shore and West Auckland market. Out of the office you'll find her doing yoga or having an espresso martini with friends.
Danie joined Absolute Value in May 2023 and holds a National Diploma in Real Estate Property Valuation, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Real Estate from UCEM (UK). With almost fifteen years of valuation experience in various property classes in South Africa, Danie has recently relocated to New Zealand, where he has settled and continues his career as a commercial valuer.
Currently, Danie is actively exploring the local markets while also enjoying the natural beauties that New Zealand has to offer.
After many years of experience in property management, Kristy joined Absolute Value in June 2023, aiming to diversify her skillsets in property valuation to add to her bucket. Kristy has completed her Bachelor of Property Management and Valuation in New Zealand, who can also communicate both in Mandarin and Cantonese on top of English. This allows her the ability to engage well with stakeholders from various backgrounds. In her spare time, Kristy enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling to see what the world has to offer.
Nik joined Absolute Value in February 2023 part time as he completes his Bachelor of Property and Commerce majoring in Accounting and Finance at the University of Auckland. He has quickly gained foundational knowledge and skills in the valuation industry and now focuses on the North Shore and West Auckland market. In his spare time, you will find Nik out on the golf course, at the gym, or outdoors with his mates.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Property and Commerce degree, majoring in Marketing and International Business at the University of Auckland, Noah joined Absolute Value in July 2023. Previously working part time at the company as he completed his degree, he has a strong understanding of the fundamentals of valuation and already worked a variety of property types. Noah now focuses on the South/East Auckland market as he continues to grow his knowledge of the industry. Outside of work, you will find Noah playing football, working out, or travelling as much as possible.

Ryan founded Absolute Value NZ in October 2012 fulfilling a desire of business ownership and team development. After graduating as a Massey University Scholar in 1999 he worked for Darroch / DTZ NZ before becoming a Property Finance Partner with BNZ. With a vast range of valuation experience he prides himself on continually developing the tools, methods, knowledge to nurture an awesome team that supports a growing clientele of high net worth and institutional portfolio owners of property. Ryan enjoys life by continuous learning and gets his energy from seeing the development of others.
Sophie joined Absolute Value in March 2022 as the office administrator, and provides support to the whole team. In her spare time Sophie enjoys hiking, getting lost in a book, and spending time with her friends.
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Property and Commerce degree majoring in Accounting at the University of Auckland, Trent joined the Absolute Value team as a commercial valuer. He has since gained valuable knowledge and experience working with a wide range of commercial property types, including specialised assets such as childcare, parking and medical properties. His primary markets include the Auckland CBD and childcare assets nationwide. In his spare time Trent enjoys being on the tennis court, listening to country music and travelling.
