I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in secondary education (mathematics / computer science) as well as Siena Heights University where I received my Master's of Arts degree in middle level education.
I started my teaching career here at Britton-Deerfield on October 1, 2018 after having earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University, with a major in General Science and a minor in Earth Science.
I received both my Bachelors and Masters of Education from Siena Heights University. I have taught for 22 years with the last four years at Britton Deerfield Schools.
My name is Carrie Griffin. I am a lifelong resident of the Britton community and have worked as a paraprofessional at BD for ten years. My goal as a coach is to create a life long love for basketball.
Hi I'm Chelsea! I've lived in Britton since 2006. I started my career working in daycare and working for the preschool at Bd in 2008 and 2009. I am so happy to be back! I love camping and spending time with my family and friends.

I began my teaching career at BD schools in January 2018 as the 4th-8th Grade School Success Teacher. Prior to this I was a Co-teacher at a preschool for 2 years, kindergarten aide for 1 year, and an RtI teacher for K-5th grade for 8 years. I have my Bachelor in Education degree from Eastern Michigan University. I am taking continuing education classes in math and reading from Spring Arbor Online.

I am originally from Bluffton, Ohio and just recently moved to the area after earning a Bachelor of Education degree from The University of Toledo in May 2021. I love working with middle school students and enjoy sharing my passion for math!
My name is Glory Nighswander and I have been teaching for 25 years. I earned my degree from Eastern Michigan University in 1995 and taught in Ann Arbor for the first 2 years of my career. The rest of my 25 years have been here in the Britton Deerfield School district.

I grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan on a curvy hill called Snow Road. I have many wonderful memories of that small house that was full of love, excitement, and joy. I now reside in Milan, Michigan, which is about 20 minutes south of Ypsilanti.

Hi, I'm Mrs. Kayser. 2022 is my first year teaching at BD Schools, but I have been teaching for many years. I received my Bachelor's degree from Concordia University in Ann Arbor and loved my art classes so much, I decided to major in art. I have taught art, elementary grades, preschool, and even took school pictures one year when my 3 kids were little!

I grew up in a small country town called Goodrich. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and my Masters in Elementary Education from Liberty University. I am proud to be part of the BD family, go Patriots!

Ms. Millington graduated from Bowling Green State University on April 30, 2022. She graduated with a degree in general education and special education for grades Pre-K to 5th grade. As a recent graduate, Ms. Millington brings new ideas and energy to the school system.
The Britton Deerfield Board of Education meets each month in the library of the district buildings. All meetings begin at 7:00 PM. The meeting agenda may be posted before the meeting. However, the Board reserves the right to amend the meeting agenda once the meeting has been called to order. Therefore, all meeting agenda items are subject to change.
I have been teaching in the district since 2000 & I currently teach English 10 and English 11. I earned my degree from Grand Valley State University.

Mrs. Stacy Johnson has been an administrator with Britton Deerfield Schools since August of 2012. She began her duties as Interim Superintendent on November 25, 2015. The Interim tag fell away on July 1, 2017.
I am so excited to return to work with BD schools. I taught pre-K here for the 2019-2020 school year. I have been teaching early education for 20 years. I received my degree from U of M-Dearborn in 2001. I returned to Eastern Michigan University later to obtain my early childhood endorsement as well as a MA in special education. I live with my husband and son in Dundee and I have a daughter living in Tecumseh. I have a lot of rescue pets and enjoy volunteering with animal rescues and working in my garden. I can't wait to work with our young Patriots again!

Vicky Oliver went to Calvin College earning a degree in Business and Political Science. She worked in the business field until deciding that teaching was her true path.
