Carla is a lifelong resident of Southeastern Ohio. Her first real estate transaction occurred in 1991 and those years of experience coupled with extensive training in managing home financing, government requirements, residential title work and local market indicators give her clients confidence they are being served well.Her experience has taught her that when working with clients listening is more important than talking. At the same time she understands her local market knowledge is extremely valuable to those in the selling or buying process in Noble County and the surrounding area. Carla's range of experience reaches from first time home buyers to those in the empty nest phase looking to downsize.
Along with selling real estate she is an Office Associate at the OSU Extension Office in Noble County where she has been employed for almost 20 years. There she works with the 4-H, AgNR, FCS and Community Development Programs. She is a 4-H Volunteer, a 4-H club leader and also enjoys working with Junior Fairs including putting together and clerking Jr. Fair Sales. Carla is the proud mother of four active children and is involved with the Shenandoah Athletic Boosters. She is a graduate of the Leadership Noble program and an Honors Award recipient. Carla graduated from Meadowbrook H.S., Mid-East Career & Technology Center (Zanesville), Hondros College for Real Estate Sales and has also attended Zane State College.

Dean L. Blackburn is a life-long resident of Morgan County, Ohio and has been a licensed Auctioneer for 42 plus years, selling in multiple states. In 2017, Dean joined the well diversified team of Ed & Ben Schafer, Auctioneers, LLC & Ben Schafer Realty, expert marketers in the fields of Auctions, Land and Residential Properties. As part of the Schafer Teams, Dean is now positioned to better serve past, present and future clients with his years of experience & knowledge in Auctions, Real Estate and Appraisals.
Devin specializes in assisting landowners value and market oil and gas mineral properties (producing and non-producing). He is a petroleum geologist for a consulting firm in Marietta, Ohio who works closely with private and public oil and gas operators, mineral buyers, petroleum engineers, and investors. Knowing where the "best rock" is located so investors can obtain the highest rate of return possible with the least amount of risk is my specialty. Devin has a B.S. in Geology from Marietta College as well as an M.S. in Geology from Ohio University. He also is a Certified Petroleum Geologist through the American Associate of Petroleum Geologists, a licensed Ohio Real Estate Agent, a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, and an associate mineral appraiser. Devin is the owner of White Eyes Exploration and has been investing in oil and gas wells, land, and minerals since 2013. Devin was born in Zanesville Ohio and currently resides in New Concord, Ohio with his wife.

Edward Vincent Schafer has been a lifelong resident of Noble County. Graduating from Shenandoah High School in 1975, and starting his family shortly thereafter. After a stint with Morton Buildings, Ed decided it was time to go home and join his father, Vincent, in running the farm. From 1980 through 1999, Ed ran the farm where he co-owned and operated a farrow to finish 120 sow hog operation, a 100 head cow/calf operation, and ran some sheep. At the same time he also helped in Vincent's Auction business, and did most of the set up and also worked as a clerk and
Ed has been married to his wife of 40 years, Laura; they have three children - Ben, Jesse, and Katie - and 5 grandchildren. So no matter what your needs, feel free to call Ed as he is a natural at making people feel at home.

James "Scott" Braden has been part of the Noble County community in southeastern Ohio since 1974. First by growing up in his grandfather's pharmacy, then working for his father in the same pharmacy and finally owning the pharmacy himself since 2001. Scott has always had a passion for community development and decided to expand his passion and become a real estate agent in 2011. He has been a registered pharmacist since 1987 and is very familiar with helping people achieve their goals in life whether it is in the field of health or life in general. Lance Miller is an auctioneer/real estate agent with nearly 15 years' experience in both the auction & real estate industries. Lance specializes in creative solutions for his clients. His ability to find creative solutions is rooted in his over 20 years' experience in the information technology field.
Lance is committed to giving back to the community. He has conducted annual benefit auctions for the Muskingum County Animal Shelter Society for numerous years. Additionally, Lance donates his skill and time to various benefit auctions ranging from school fundraisers, area Cub Scout Pack Cake Auctions and medical expense benefits to name a few.
Lance and his team love the excitement of a good live auction and the fun that comes with the business. He is able to leverage his I.T. experience to bridge over to the online auction sector. Mia Clark has been a resident of Noble County for nearly 35 years. She brings an abundance of experience to Ben Schafer Realty and more importantly to her clients. Having past experience managing accounts receivables at a local financial institution, it has helped her in her role here as Property Manager of nearly 100 properties. In Mia's role as a sales agent she was involved in transactions that reached nearly 3 million dollars in 2018 alone. Mia is acutely aware that clients do business with a real estate agent for one reason and that is trust. She has created a base of raving fans!
Mia is described as an outgoing person who loves dealing with people. She finds it her mission to make sure she locates the right rental property for the right people. Wayne Cooper is a lifelong resident of Ohio and has spent the majority of his time in both Eastern Ohio and South Eastern Ohio.
