BEAVERTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS ROBOTICS

Our mission is to develop sustainable FIRST teams that bring together students with diversity for a fun and inspirational learning experience in engineering and technology by creating student designed, student built, mentor supported robots... Team 2898, The Flying Hedgehogs, is a high school FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) team that teaches students real-world engineering and business skills through annual robotics challenges. We are housed at the Capital Center in Beaverton, Oregon and based out of Beaverton School District magnet schools, SST (The School of Science and Technology) and HS2 (Health and Science School)... The Flying Hedgehogs also organize numerous outreach and educational activities. Our team strives to promote science and make a lasting impact in our community. From teaching engineering summer camps to giving demonstrations at events throughout the year, we are constantly taking steps towards expanding the influence of STEM education.
