The BSB closes season 109 with a celebration of dance - five centuries of dance to be more precise. Starting with the courtly 16th Century dances of Flemish composer Tielman Susato, we offer folk dances, a fire dance, a saber dance, a polka, tango, jig and a reel. We even have a pirate dance, a mambo, a Can-Can and some BSB surprises along the way! Whether you tie up your ballet slippers or just sit and sway to the music, this program is sure to leave you dancing in the aisles with a smile on your face and a lilt in your step.
