Alberto has worked in the automotive industry for almost 5 years and has been with Burdick Auto Solutions since June 2023. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute and has enhanced his skills immensely since joining our team. His favorite part about working here is being part of a tight knit team. He's passionate about working in the automotive industry because he loves problem solving. His favorite vehicle to work on is any Ford with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine because that is what he first learned on.
When he's not working on cars, Alberto loves gaming and building pcs. Family is very important to him, and he is very close to his mom and dad. He wants to help his parents in their dream to own their own construction business.
When asked what he feels makes Burdick Auto Solutions stand out from other repair shops, he said "it feels like family, more like home". He has a goal to improve his skills and experience as a technician to become a shop foreman. His advice to the community, "service is the key for a long-lasting vehicle".

Earl Burdick is the Owner & Operator of Burdick Auto Solutions. He has always liked taking things apart and fixing them. He enjoys the challenge of cars both old and new and feels a lot of satisfaction from driving a car out of the shop after it was towed in.
Earl started the business in March 2002. He opened his own shop based on a flaw he saw in the industry (from working at both dealerships and independent shops), it appeared to him the auto repair industry was more focused on money rather than people. Earl set out to change all that when he opened his own shop in 2002. With a leap of faith, he left his stable job and went into business ownership. He chose to focus on people more than sales which quickly led him to be voted "Best in McKinney".
Burdick Auto Solutions is honest in everything they do and they stand behind their work. They offer a nationwide warranty on most of their repairs. They also have an extraordinary team of advanced level technicians and service advisors with over 174 years of combined professional experience.
When he is not at work, Earl enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, pickleball, hiking, and disc golf. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and currently serving as Elders Quorum President in his Ward. He also serves in the temple once a week.
Earl moved to McKinney in 1997 and has enjoyed being a part of the growth here. He married his eternal companion Cynthia in April 2010. Together they have a blended family with 2 cats, 1 dog, and 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
Cynthia has been a part of Burdick Auto Solutions since 2010. She has helped build brand awareness by redesigning the lobby, shop jeep, & website. She was also instrumental in restructuring & purchasing the building in 2008. She enjoys "hiding in the background" as she accomplishes the many goals of the company. Her diverse background of 26 years of management experience (12 years at Sonic drive In & 14 years at a dental office) help her to incorporate her organizational skills and creative side into the automotive industry.
When asked what she loves best about Burdick Auto Solutions, she stated "I enjoy being a part of a company that wants to change the way the industry is typically seen. I love how Earl started this business because he wanted create a safe/honest place for customers to bring their cars"
Cynthia graduated with a Bachelors from Wichita State University in 1997. She married Earl in April of 2010, they have a blended family of 4 children & 2 grandchildren. They have 2 cats & 1 dog. Cynthia's an integral part of the image and marketing of the business. In her free time she enjoys CrossFit, learning to play tennis, playing pickleball, and making digital photo books. She also loves to snuggle her 5 pound "chorkie" dog named Snickers.
Jimmy has worked for over 40 years in the Automotive Industry in a variety of positions including many years in management. He has been a very integral part of our team at Burdick Auto Solutions for over 18 years. Jimmy has numerous certifications and training including all technician areas, service manager, store manager, and advanced store manager training. He is passionate about making people's lives better by providing great auto repair service through his communication and customer service. He loves being a part of Burdick Auto Solutions because he feels they have an unequaled technician crew and experienced sales staff that strives to provide excellence in automotive service.
Jimmy spends most of his free time coaching local runners ages 8-18 in a local running club. He spent many years in the Boy Scout organization with his boys and loves nature, traveling, & camping. He is married to his wonderful wife, Michele who he says "has tolerated him for almost 38 years". They have 4 children: Their oldest, Justin graduated from University of Arkansas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Trevor graduated with Honors from the University of Houston with a degree in Civil Engineering, Blair graduated with Honors with a degree in Computer Science from Trinity University, and Amanda will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May 2024. All of his children were active in Scouting, lettered in track and cross country, and excelled in academics here in McKinney and at their universities.
Jimmy is currently working towards retirement, but still enjoying working for Burdick Auto Solutions. After over 40 years in the industry, Jimmy is still passionate about working in the automotive business. He said, "People are extremely dependent on their vehicles. I feel like I am providing a very needed service to our community." He is trying to find a balance between work and retirement as he transitions.
When asked what he feels makes Burdick Auto Solutions stand out from other repair shops, he says, "Earl does a great job of creating a business based on customer service excellence".
His advice to the community, "When you feel something is off, get it checked to determine the severity of the problem."
"Scotty" has been in the Automotive Industry for over 41years. He is a former master Hyundai and Mitsubishi Tech as well as Senior Nissan Tech. His favorite car to work on is his old Jeep TJ. He is passionate about repairing cars for customers and enjoys how helpful everyone is at Burdick Auto Solutions.
When asked what he loves most about working at Burdick Auto Solutions, Scotty said, "They make customers and employees feel like family." His advise to the community is: "Always help people when you can."
